- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 314 reviewswhat a lovely hotel , the staff is amazing , 2 ladies in the restaurant were perfect, welcome drink upon arrival , kitchen was closed and we were hungry but the lady made a cold plate with a local cheese and ham, room had a small balcony with a nice view, amazing comfortable bed with very good mattresses I slept like a baby , had a dinner in restaurant some pizza and was very tasty ! and very cheap ! parking in front of the hotel free of charge , there is a huge terrace and big restaurant you can choose were to have, diner, lunch or afternoon drink the receptionist/manager/owner made the stay even better felt like a VIP quest all the time thank you for your hospitality breakfast ist served from 8:00-10:00 i like to sleep longer but made it just before closing , the breakfast was good choice of everything what you can ask , very good coffee and local fresh milk , amazing service from the lady even had a chance to get a scrambled eggs (9:45) and served with a smile thank you will be definitely back soonGuest review byPetrSwitzerland
- From US$756.38 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 930 reviewsAlthough we didn’t know what to expect we were pleasantly surprised with overall experience of the hotel. Room was cosy, but it had all we need. large closet, spacious bathroom and magnificent view. Window bed was such a gem, especially in the night when we were able to look into the sky and watch the stars from the bed – it felt like we are somewhere outdoor in the middle of the woods. Breakfast and dinner offered quite a variety of the food. We were anxious every evening to see what will be on the menu. Staff was very helpful and it felt like they'll do anything to fulfill all our wishes. Spa center is not the biggest one, but saunas are and outside pools offer breathtaking views to surrounding mountains. We've loved sauna infusion programs and morning activities that were organised. We've stayed for five days, but next time it should be seven.Guest review byMarkoSlovenia

It's not the cheapest town in the area, and not every place has the same high standards. Lots of Olympic construction going on, both in town and all around, so watch out for delays and possible noise. But you'll get over that once you smell the air and see the views. This is the Alsager then someGuest review byTimUnited Kingdom - 10.0
There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine.
There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine. Of course, there are the local & famous walkways, the mountain hikes, bike trails, and the Dolomites are nearby. On rainy days, there are castles, the Terme spa/pools. Overall, it's a very nice town with a lot to do.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 8.0
This is further to my previous review on Garni Rives.
This is further to my previous review on Garni Rives. I gave the hotel a review that reflects my honest opinion, mainly about the manager/host of the hotel. Obviously my review was not received with warmth from the hotel manager. He messaged me immediately via Whatsapp and blamed me being not polite to him, I have no idea where does this come from. I believe he has broken the golden rule of being in me the hospitality industry, if he cannot accept honest reviews, how can he improve to thrive on? The hotel itself is OK and the only problem I have is the steep climb (not the hotel's fault) and mainly the manager's manner.Guest review byAnthonyAustralia - 10.0

For those who may not know, Val Gardena is comprised of three distinct areas; Selva, Ortisei and Santa Cristina. My advice on where to stay is to try and figure out which mountain ranges you plan on hitting. That said, all three locations are very close together, and you can access them all within ten minute on the same bus. Personally, I would stick to Selva or Ortisei simply because of their access to vastly different mountain areas. Santa Cristina is snuggled between the two and didn't have as much to offer, IMO.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

There's so much to do in the area. we went summer skiing at the glacier (Stelvio), which was ok (lots of long lines for the button lifts because of the hundreds of ski club teams). But the nearby QC Terme Bagni Vecchi was amazing. Would like to have stayed longer for hiking and mountain biking. Very nice little town and beautfil surroundings.Guest review byLu KoUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great place in the mountains with Italian flair. The hiking trails are marvellous, the paths through the vineyards are superb, lots of Castagne and going there by Rhätische Bahn is a pure highlight. Hidden beauties, old places, rich in history.Guest review byreise_kunstAustria - 10.0

Beautiful countryside and perfect for walking or cycling in the hillsides around the village, plus some really nice restaurants open late into the evening filled with people who all appeared to be having a good time. Also great to be able to do some duty free shopping.Guest review byBruceUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A very lovely town that has amenities of a larger town while didn't lose the charm of a small town. It has lots of shops along the pedestrian streets with decent cafe and restaurants. They also have limited free shuttle service to nearby areas, where we chose to stay for the night for easy access to the Monte Bianco Skyway (cable car) back to Chamonix.Guest review byRapeepunUnited States - 10.0
