The location is amazing, very nice view to Lago di Garda and 4 min walk to Cascate del Varone. The breakfast was delicious, the staff very nice and helpful. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed. We would definitely come back!

We were travelling from east Croatia to Geneva. Location was great for us, just off the motorway and easy to find. Also there were stores and supermarkets nearby which was useful for us to stock up on our favourite Italian products (Parmiggiano etc), and of course took advantage of off-motorway fuel prices. Great pizzeria nearby - Tavernetta. Hotel was perfect. Breakfast was excellent. We had a large dog and found a place to walk him. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and all was super efficient. We will most probably plan our next journey to stay there again.

Absolut recommendation when traveling with your Dog. We visited this Hotel one week and it was awesome for the dog and for us. The dog was allowed to run without leash on the whole Hotel yard which was satisfing for us. Our dog could also stay close the pool so we didnt had the problem of leavin her hours in the room. Guilia is a really nice Host and is caring about every wish you are having. They also they a nice baarkeeper which tells you nice stories and cares a lot about you as a guest.

Laidback Resorts and Great Watersports

Set against the backdrop of magnificent mountains, Lake Garda is Italy’s largest lake. Colourful houses and laidback resorts line its shores, each with their own unique character.

Sirmione juts out on a promontory from the southern shore and is accessed through a picturesque, 13th-century castle. Desenzano del Garda to the west has a relaxed harbour and wide promenade with lots of pavement cafes overlooking the lake.

To the north is the sheltered bay of Salò, former capital of the Republic under Mussolini – it’s not hard to see why he chose here as an escape. Continuing north the lake narrows until it reaches its point at Riva del Garda by the southern slopes of the Alps. Although watersports are practised all over the lake, the weather conditions here are particularly favourable for sailing and windsurfing.

On Garda Lake’s eastern shore is Malcesine, whose 13th-century castle stands proud on a rock by the water. Further south is the sophisticated promenade of Garda, and close by is Bardolino – famous for its fabulous red wine. Near the lake’s south-east corner is Gardaland, Italy’s most visited theme park.

    We highly recommend this hotel. We were really surprised with the hotel design, room size, quality of furniture and materials in the bathrooms. We were so impressed with the outdoor pool in the room and sauna with jacuzzi and swing on the balcony! So comfortable rooms, beds with the variants of pillows. Never slept like in this hotel :). Room service also very good. All necessary equipment was every time in the room. Food in the restaurant is also without any words ), everything was perfect. Service in the restaurant, quality and the taste of food! everything so delicious, big variety of wine list and cocktails. You can totally relax in this hotel at any time of the year with its perfect spa and pool. that was sooo relaxing. Stylish and clean. And you can go by foot for about 30 min to the historical town with the castle - Lazise. We saw the taxi from the hotel, but prefer to have walk. And the hotel has very good placement. To any interesting place about 20-30 min by car. To the beautiful Sermione is about 20 min. We are highly recommend this hotel!

    This wasn’t our first stay at this hotel, and once again, everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel is very clean, cozy, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive — they truly make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. One of the highlights is the amazing park on the property — it’s like a little paradise where you can fully relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. This time, I was pleasantly surprised on my birthday: they left a bottle of Prosecco in the room and offered a discount on our stay. Such thoughtful gestures make all the difference and created a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be coming back again!

    A beautiful place with numerous restaurants and cafés :) Also ideal as a base for exploring other towns on Lake Garda. For those travelling without a car, it is easily accessible by public transport :) It is worth taking a 25-minute motorboat trip, which offers amazing views, and also visiting the Grotte di Catullo :)

    The access to hiking/biking trails could keep you busy for weeks. The history of the area is very interesting in particular the war time history. The area is surrounded by the most incredible mountains/views. The beaches were very popular with lots of people swimming late September.

    Peschiera is a lively town at the edge of Lake Garda. It has lots of shops, bars and restaurants. It offers easy access to boat trips, walks and cycle-paths, as well as other lakeside towns. It is ideal for trips further afield as the express trains stop here, allowing day-trip access to Brescia, Verona, Milan and Venice

    Really easy to get to from Verona airport. Beautiful views of the Lake and quick to get to Sirmione which is stunning but can get really busy with tourists. Desenzano town is lovely, lots of eateries, pretty streets, friendly people and beautiful views. The market on a Tuesday was really good, nice to walk around. Many things eg the castle etc are closed on a Monday. I was there 2.5 days which felt enough for me. This included a day in Sirmione. I explored the main sites and then spent a day in Verona on the way home, well worth a day trip or visit.

Last year it was selected as the most superb flower decorated town in Italy and at the international competition won the top five 'petals' in it's category of small resorts. The winter population is 1200 people but usually busy with visitors from the end of April till mid October. The only criticism this year is that I detected a cigarette end on some steps! Standards are slipping but the Mayor, Il Sindaco, was quite distressed. If in doubt just go and you will not be disappointed.

    Really enjoyed staying in Bardolino.

    Really enjoyed staying in Bardolino. Plenty of shops and spoilt for choice when it came to restaurants. It’s quite busy even late September and I wouldn’t want to go during the peak summer months for this reason but also the heat.

    Malcesine is an absolute gem on Lake Garda - picturesque, charming and full of character. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Malcesine manages to feel authentic while still being very visitor-friendly.

    Great and beautiful country not only lake. Riva, Torbole, Limone and Malcesice are quiet and friendly cities. Siermione and Peschiera standard to visit. Enjoy there a nice views from Monte Baldo! Be aware that parking and travelling time can be horrible i summer season. Plan you trips to soon morning otherwise you spend hours in queues waiting for park space. For travelling from notrh to south use A22 highway. Travelling from Torbole to Peschiera around lake takes 2 hours (cyclists, willages, queues)

    Great selection of bars, restaurants and cafes, well situated on the lake to get to other parts by bus or boat. Compact town. very easy and quick to get around. Got up and down the lake to Sirmione, Gard, Malcesine, over to Limone. Portese and Gardone slower pace but lovely on the West side of the lake. Classique is a must restaurant as is is Taverna Marconi in Lazise. Too many nice bars to name. Nice market while we were there with great food and leather goods. We didn't do watersports but there are plenty of options, big motor camper sites in the town.

    Garda is a beautiful town with lots of lovely restaurants...

    Garda is a beautiful town with lots of lovely restaurants along the promenade. The town is ideally placed for exploring the other towns on Lake Garda by bus and boat. We visited Desenzano and Sirmione to the South, Malcesine and Torbole to the North. We also went to Peschiera and got the Frecciarossa train to Venice for the day. The lake has charming little towns and spectacular mountain views. Very beautiful.
