- From US$224.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,636 reviewsCasa Poli was a thoroughly pleasant experience, which exceeded my expectations. Top reasons: + Staff > extremely nice, attentive and helpful with great endeavour to make guests happy + Room & bathroom > modern tasteful design | comprehensive equipment in top shape and spotlessly clean (esp. to mention: good reading lamps) | comfortable noise protection of wall and windows (during my trip in Italy this was the only hotel where nothing was heard from the adjacent rooms, even though they were all occupied) + Breakfast > rich buffet with high-quality products (in my opinion above standard in Italy) "Grazie mille" to the Casa Poli team. And special thanks to Rachele who helped me with much concern when I fell victim of a national train strike on my departure day.Guest review byChristophGermany
- From US$204.53 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,128 reviewsThe apartment is right in the main piazza in Modena, walking distance to everything. The bed was extremely comfortable and all the facilities were perfect. The service was super friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. They also gave us discounts for both the restaurant (which serves amazing food) and the bakery. I suggest to stay away from the latter as it’s impossible not to order everything: from their typical modenese cakes, to panini, home-made pasta and pastries!! Finger licking stuff!Guest review byAnaUnited Kingdom
- From US$108 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,375 reviewsReally central location but still very quiet. Easy to park. Friendly English (and multi lingual) speaking receptionist. Clean room. Lovely Continental breakfast (bread, cheese, cold meat, pastries, cereal, coffee, juice, yoghurt). And Mantua is simply beautiful.Guest review byTimUnited Kingdom

A very clean and modern place, most tasteful food in the restaurant, kind and helpful staff at reception. I enjoyed every minute of my three night stay.Guest review byAngelBulgaria

Mantova is beautiful and there is so much to do.
Mantova is beautiful and there is so much to do. We loved the lake cruise, the Palazzo Te (crazy paintings) the Ducal Palace and just exploring the old town with its rich and wonderful architecture. One of the loveliest cities we have visited.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This small town makes a good spot from which you can make excursions into the larger historic city of Mantova. The people were friendly and welcoming. We discovered one main restaurant called Le Scuderie which had a large menu and excellent food.Guest review byJosephUnited States - 10.0
2 nights / days in Mantova was perfect. Its a hidden gem.
2 nights / days in Mantova was perfect. Its a hidden gem. So rare to be able to go to places like this with no crowds, great food/culture and atmosphere. Didn't feel ripped off, prices were reasonable. The sites were as good as if not better than Venice minus the canals and crowds. They don't call this town/city the inland Venice for nothing.Guest review byWilliamAustralia - 10.0

Ducal palace and Te palace were amazing not just for the artwork but for the incredible decorated ceilings and walls. Lake tour is well worth doing. Mantegnas house disappointing. It is an easy town to walk around and see everything. The Duomo and of course the Basilica are stunning but also the very old circular church. We were lucky enough to have a walk around their library founded in 1770 and don’t miss the cute little theatre Bibiena where Mozart played.Guest review byRonaldAustralia
