Everything, from arrival to departure. The room and bathroom were large, clean, comfortable and truly value for money. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Plenty of parking.     After over 6 hours of driving we needed a place that had ample parking, easy access and air conditioned. Hotel Remilia ticked all the boxes. It was very easy to get to. It is set back from the highway so there was no noise. It's 10 minutes drive away from the town center. The staff were very friendly and happy to assist in any way. The room was big and comfortable. Had all the amenities needed.. But no tea tray. Cafe is in the lobby, and they will bring you anything you like to order from there. The staff were quick. Got an iron and board 5 minutes after I requested it. The receptionist assisted us booking a wonderful restaurant in town ( as they may not speak English). She even ordered a taxi and informed him of our destination. It's 11 euros in a metered taxi. The town has a ZTL zone where only authorised cars are allowed in. Check Google for ZTL zone if you want to drive there. It's a very beautiful town. Taxi stands are next to Piazza della Vittoria. Or get the card from the taxi and call them whenever you want. They speak English and they arrive almost immediately. Breakfast is good..and if you require anything special I am sure they will try to make/get it for you. The hotel restaurant opens after 7pm ( as do most of the restaurants in towns in Italy). Don't forget to enjoy their ice-cream. It's gelato galore!! Open till 11.30pm!

    If you’re dreaming of pure countryside peace surrounded by emerald-green hills, book Agriturismo Campo del Pillo without a second thought. The location is stunning - exactly the quiet, pastoral setting we were searching for, and it recharged our batteries so completely that we kept extending our stay in our minds. Our room was spotless, neatly arranged, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Each morning began with a generous farmhouse breakfast: fragrant local cheeses, cold cuts, and jams all produced locally and bursting with flavor. Host Fabrizio embodies Italian hospitality. Although we arrived later than planned, he greeted us like old friends and with much care. Later, He personally opened the jacuzzi so we could unwind and relax. Throughout our visit, he checked in with genuine warmth, offered thoughtful tips on hiking trails and village trattorias, and made absolutely sure we lacked for nothing. Campo del Pillo is one of those rare places that feels both homely and special. Perfect for slowing down, breathing deep, and savoring life’s simple pleasures. We recommend it wholeheartedly and already look forward to our return.

    Charming place. Nice pool with plenty of space and bar, great views, peace and tranquility. Owner and staff are very friendly, recommended tons of places nearby to do and see. Great restaurant for dinner with amazing local wine. Tasty breakfast with everything you could ask for- eggs, ham, cheese etc. (nothing is charged extra!). All from local suppliers! Rustic feel, home-like atmosphere. Nothing fancy but you are in the middle of countryside. Our apartment was equipped with everything we needed to cook lunch (including condiments), plenty of towels (fyi: indoors use only, you need to bring own or pay extra for pool towels) and comfortable beds.

    I arrived late at night due to Mille Miglia, which was no issue as they have a 24/7 reception. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient, and after a long day it was a true pleasure to arrive in a pre-airconditioned room (it was around 28 degrees that night). Details that matter. The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. There are plenty of parking spaces, slightly hidden behind the hotel which gives some peace of mind. All in all a great stay!

    Situated at a quiet location just outside the village this hotel offers all that we needed, a lovely spacious family suite with a wonderful central balcony, staff were great and very helpful and the breakfast was exceptional. Fantastic location too close to the motorway for travelling south the first week and returning north the second week. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area between Parma and Bologna,

    It was a midpoint destination for the cities we wanted to visit: Florence, Venice, Genoa, Parma, and Lake Garda as well as Quattro Castella. We ate everywhere, but especially enjoyed 2 restaurants, Del Buontempone and Trotter Ristorante. It was easy to get around with our GPS and Google Translation.

    Beautiful old building with a fascinating history. A great job has been done to restore and renovate Hotel Posta into a comfortable, inviting hotel with attention to touches that made the stay feel luxurious. The breakfast buffet was spectacular and white linen tablecloths were changed between every sitting. The location was also good, making it easy to walk to delicious dining spots and to other historical sites.
