Tyrolese Magic among the Italian Alps
Part of the Alpine regions of northern Italy, this small province mixes great ski slopes, rich traditions from Austrian, Italian and Ladin cultures, stunning landscapes, and great food and wines. Seasons make no difference here, as the enchantment of South Tyrol has always something magic to offer.
With strong cultural and historical bonds with the Austrian Tyrol, this tiny region has a population with a German-speaking majority. The charming towns spread through its undulating geography mix the Tyrolese and Italian influence.

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 177 reviewsThe hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully maintained surroundings. The outdoor terrace and relaxation areas around the property are perfect for unwinding and enjoying the scenery. The SPA is excellent, featuring an indoor hot tub, two saunas, and peaceful relaxation areas, plus an outdoor swimming pool. What truly stood out, however, were the staff and the food. We chose the half-board option and were grateful for it every evening—the breakfasts were fabulous with high-quality ingredients, and the dinners were absolutely superb. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, creating a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. A lovely bonus is the complimentary organized hiking groups—we joined one and had a wonderful experience. Overall, a fantastic stay we’d happily recommend!Guest review byVeselinBulgaria

Would like to go back prepared to do the walks and hikes in the area. The old city and market were charming. Loved the Archeology museum and learning about Otzi the Iceman. Cable car and train a great introduction to the possibilities available for future visits.Guest review byKellyCanada - 10.0

There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine. Of course, there are the local & famous walkways, the mountain hikes, bike trails, and the Dolomites are nearby. On rainy days, there are castles, the Terme spa/pools. Overall, it's a very nice town with a lot to do.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 8.0
This is further to my previous review on Garni Rives.
This is further to my previous review on Garni Rives. I gave the hotel a review that reflects my honest opinion, mainly about the manager/host of the hotel. Obviously my review was not received with warmth from the hotel manager. He messaged me immediately via Whatsapp and blamed me being not polite to him, I have no idea where does this come from. I believe he has broken the golden rule of being in me the hospitality industry, if he cannot accept honest reviews, how can he improve to thrive on? The hotel itself is OK and the only problem I have is the steep climb (not the hotel's fault) and mainly the manager's manner.Guest review byAnthonyAustralia - 10.0

For those who may not know, Val Gardena is comprised of...
For those who may not know, Val Gardena is comprised of three distinct areas; Selva, Ortisei and Santa Cristina. My advice on where to stay is to try and figure out which mountain ranges you plan on hitting. That said, all three locations are very close together, and you can access them all within ten minute on the same bus. Personally, I would stick to Selva or Ortisei simply because of their access to vastly different mountain areas. Santa Cristina is snuggled between the two and didn't have as much to offer, IMO.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town. There is a train station for trips to other nearby towns or into Austria. The bus service is excellent. You can go for hikes up the Dolomites and reach the famous three peaks. So much to do. The drinking water is amazing.Guest review byMonica - 10.0
Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.
Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.Guest review byJurajCroatia - 10.0
