- From $93.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,749 reviewsVery nice, clean and modern hotel. The location is ideal for our pilgrimage to St. Rita. It is practically just next to the Basilica. The buffet breakfast had plenty of selections. The staff were very helpful in facilitating our visit to Rocaporena, St. Rita’s hometown, for a very reasonable fee. The driver dropped us off and picked us up at our chosen time, which was great since the public bus service was only twice a day at 9:00am and 1:00pm. The staff at the reception were always cheerful in giving us the information we needed. They also arranged our ride “down to the bus stop” when we departed at 6:30am. For these, we are truly thankful!Guest review byTERESITACanada
- From $183.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 142 reviewsWe had a wonderful stay here. The accommodations were some of the nicest we've seen in Italy. Beautiful grounds and very sweet, accommodating staff. Location was perfect, with a fantastic view of Assisi. We loved that this location was so close to Assisi, as we did not want to hassle with the parking in the historical parts. If you have a car, this is the ideal location.Guest review bySuzanneUnited States

The breakfast was very good, and it’s also very close to a great pizza place. Assisi is a very special place, unspoiled. This property is within walking distance of the city center and many shops. The development of this historic property is of the highest quality. Go.Guest review byAutumnUnited States

Great views, great stuff ready to help you, great food, good comfortable beds and rooms, nice open air swiming pool. Lots of wineries around, and Assisi is now one of my favorite old cities in Italy to visit.Guest review byAlexanderBulgaria

The view is breathtaking as it is located at the top of a mountain. The rooms were cosy and quaint. It is very remote, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. The dinner was delicious and very good. It was pricy but worth it.Guest review byFrancineIsrael

I went to Assisi to visit the tomb of Saint Carlo Acutis and it was such an emotional experience! I had no idea there were so many hills in Assisi. I would have packed much differently and had a much smaller suitcase. The people that I met were very friendly and helpful to me. My suitcases were entirely too heavy and so many people provided me with assistance!Guest review byJudithUnited States - 10.0

The city is wonderful but you will need a car to get around some of the sattelite towns such as Montefalco or Todi. Other towns like Assisi and Foligno are accessable by train. You will need to pre book wine tours out of town.Guest review bySteveNew Zealand - 10.0

It’s a fantastic place to visit! So much to see! I went back up to the Casa Romana and the Teatro Romano and both were well worth the visit. La Rocca has incredible views and a very interesting museum. Then you can go down to the aqueduct, which is stunning.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The quintessential Italian village -- so much history with beautiful cobblestone streets, amazing cafes and quaint shops. We were there for a family baptism and every venue accommodated our large groups with advance planning. Completely gracious and wonderful -- I will definitely return. It's a hidden gem.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Terni is a wonderful city.
Terni is a wonderful city. In my opinion it's a hidden gem of Italy. It's an easy 1-hour train ride from Rome, and on the way to all the northern Italian cities. Terni Centro has almost no cars, so incredibly walking friendly, full of cafes, gelaterias, and pizza. All, with picture book old Italian architecture. Also, Terni really comes alive after 4pm!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Passignano sul Trasimeno is a charming lakeside town in Umbria offering breathtaking views, authentic Italian culture, and a peaceful atmosphere away from tourist crowds. With its medieval fortress, waterfront promenade, excellent local cuisine, and perfect location for exploring the Umbrian countryside, it's an ideal destination for travelers seeking a genuine Italian experience and great tradition like Palio Delle Barche.Guest review byGrzegorzPoland - 10.0
We stayed one night.
We stayed one night. Julia, the hostess, was outstandingly helpful and she spoke very good English. The dinner and breakfast were particularly good. We ate dinner outdoors but in good shade from the evening sun. There is a large swimming pool which has a superb view. I highly recommend Romitorio agriturismo.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Small and not overrun with lots of foreign tourists.
Small and not overrun with lots of foreign tourists. Station very convenient so easy to use as a base to visit Asissi, Spoleto and Perugia, yet plenty to see in Spello. A delightful little hill town. Hard walking up hill but downhill all the way home if accommodation was at the bottom end of the walled city.Guest review byBethAustralia
