- From US$560.02 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 116 reviewsThe hotel and staff exceeded our expectations! The suite and views from the hotel are even more impressive than the photos. The rooms are well-equipped with everything you need for your stay, and the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful with any additional requests. We were travelling with our puppy, and everyone made sure he had a wonderful stay as well. :) The food in the restaurant, whether for breakfast, dinner, or afternoon snacks, was excellent! Each day offered different options, and the quality of the food was AMAZING. The table service was also impeccable. The spa and wellness area is perfect for those days when you want to relax at the hotel. It is very clean and well-maintained, offering a variety of pools and saunas for guests to enjoy. The massages and treatments are an added bonus, with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff in that area were very friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient if you want to explore hiking trails, as it is about a 1 to 1.5-hour drive to the most renowned spots. Additionally, within a 5-minute walk, you can access shops and bars in San Cassiano. What impressed us the most was the hotel staff, who were consistently helpful, polite, and kind to us and our puppy. The attention to detail was exceptional, with thoughtful touches that ensured a stress-free holiday. :)Guest review byEmaNorth Macedonia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 140 reviewsLovely hotel about 15 mins walk to town. The Staff were excellent. We arrived the day before the Dolomiti bike festival and the roads were closed from 7am to 230pm. They assisted us in finding a beautiful hike that were were still able to do walking from the hotel and it was beautiful. The following day was the Feast of Corpus Christie/ Dormi and they drove us into town to attend mass and afterwards there was a procession around the village with many locals dressed in traditional costume and carrying the saint statue.. The breakfasts in particular were very good. San Cassiano nearby is a really pretty little town. The hotel was beautiful with lots of flowers and a restaurant and a bar. The pool and jacuzzi were free but you could pay for spa servicesGuest review bySorialAustralia

If you like a quieter and more peaceful place to stay in I would choose Badia. Corvara was quite touristy. Also unfortunately Corvara does not have a well stocked supermarket, there is a DeSpar but it’s quite sad. There are two bakeries which are nice ones in Corvara. Food options are mostly only Italian foodGuest review byGulzarIndia - 10.0

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other villages in the surrounding area. This is because it is a bit bigger than most and has more traditional town layout (instead of being village lined out next to the main street). Architecture is mostly traditional, which gives it the right alpine village vibe. There is a good choice for places to eat and a decent SPAR store. Ski lift is nearby. It seems that every other house is a hotel or a guest house, so finding the right accommodation should be fairly easy.Guest review byJanisLatvia - 10.0
Colfosco is great for the views.
Colfosco is great for the views. Amazing if you stay in a place with a view of the mountains. Limited restaurant options. Blackhill was our favorite. The market in Corvara was better for groceries. The town is a good base for driving to some of the most popular hikes in the Dolomites. While my dad called it Cold-fosco, because we seemed to be getting more wind than some other towns in nearby valleys, It is also true that we had a pretty cold September all over the area.Guest review byWriterGuyColombia - 10.0
The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday.
The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday. Unfortunately we came at the end of the season and SC and neighbouring villages were very quiet. The free bus service was a great help getting around the area and even as far out as to Brunico. Eating out in SC was limited but a great find was the restaurant at the campsite of Sass Diacia.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a well known large town. It is beautiful everything is slightly cheaper than Corvara and not so busy. The views are picturesque the restaurants are great and it’s not too far from passo Pordoi etc We recommend going in June or July before the chaos of August. It’s our favourite place to go and we will be returning.Guest review byLindaAustralia - 6.0

I did not really explore the locale ... struck me as not a huge amount to do - but I was very happy with the facilities at the Hotel Melodia. Lots of varied skiing - a car makes things very much easier than having to rely on local shuttles.Guest review byMr M to you.Malaysia - 10.0
Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far.
Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.Guest review byAlenaCzech Republic - 6.0

La Vall is a good destination for vacations, but it is not a good choice for skiing because it is far from the ski lift and the ski bus does not go very often, so the journey to the ski lift takes a long time.Guest review byJasminaSerbia - 10.0
Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area.
Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is much higher and cooler than Bolzano. It is much smaller and easier to navigate than Cortina. It has access to very easy alpine meadow trails and more challenging rocky places above the tree line.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0

Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need for any mountain activities you can imagine or just pure relaxation. With mix of old buildings and modern ski infrastructure this place offers true alpine ambient. On top of surroundings I really enjoyed local cuisine that is simple but based on natural local ingredients exceptionally good in every restaurant we had a chance to visit. My favorites were "Chi Cianeis" for lunch and "Plazores" for dinner.Guest review byWiktorPoland
