- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 551 reviewsWe had excellent service throughout the hotel. Our waiter, Nabil, was pleasant and always had our cappuccinos ready in the morning. He also had gluten-free pastries ready on our table every morning, as well as an English newspaper to start the day. Having breakfast included in the morning is a must. Huge variety of food: cold cuts, cheese, eggs, yogurt, cakes, danishes, fresh juice, coffee, tea. Our rental car got stuck in the parking lot due to bad tires, and the hotel staff graciously pushed us out. We also had several questions, which Angelina and Cinzia at the front desk helped us with. We had a lovely sauna-ritual which was a unique and fun way to learn about local culture. The massages were also excellent after a long day of skiing. The food was 5-star quality. The desserts were also divine! And excellent options of celiac travellers. Will definitely be back.Guest review byMartinaCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 294 reviewsWe were greeted with a very warm welcome at reception. The hotel is super clean, our room was beautiful and big, with a balcony that had a stunning view of the mountains. I chose the hotel for the location, views and the wellness centre and it didn’t disappoint. The wellness centre was perfect just what we needed after long days on the mountains, I even managed to fit in a lovely massage. The sky terrace has the best views, best place to relax. The food was really good with a buffet every evening before the courses began. The staff were all really friendly. Will be back for sureGuest review byTraceyUnited Kingdom

From check-in to check-out we totally enjoyed our stay. Plenty of staff that is well trained and thoughtful to help and make you welcome. Our table waiter Raffaello was special. He made sure my wife had the special food that she needs was Gluten Free. Always courteous and helpful. The chef even made a special gluten free cake for my wife to enjoy. Mountain scenery was beautiful. We drove the mountain roads both to West and East.Guest review byDavidGermany

If you like a quieter and more peaceful place to stay in I would choose Badia. Corvara was quite touristy. Also unfortunately Corvara does not have a well stocked supermarket, there is a DeSpar but it’s quite sad. There are two bakeries which are nice ones in Corvara. Food options are mostly only Italian foodGuest review byGulzarIndia - 10.0

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other villages in the surrounding area. This is because it is a bit bigger than most and has more traditional town layout (instead of being village lined out next to the main street). Architecture is mostly traditional, which gives it the right alpine village vibe. There is a good choice for places to eat and a decent SPAR store. Ski lift is nearby. It seems that every other house is a hotel or a guest house, so finding the right accommodation should be fairly easy.Guest review byJanisLatvia - 10.0
Colfosco is great for the views.
Colfosco is great for the views. Amazing if you stay in a place with a view of the mountains. Limited restaurant options. Blackhill was our favorite. The market in Corvara was better for groceries. The town is a good base for driving to some of the most popular hikes in the Dolomites. While my dad called it Cold-fosco, because we seemed to be getting more wind than some other towns in nearby valleys, It is also true that we had a pretty cold September all over the area.Guest review byWriterGuyColombia - 10.0

La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a well known large town. It is beautiful everything is slightly cheaper than Corvara and not so busy. The views are picturesque the restaurants are great and it’s not too far from passo Pordoi etc We recommend going in June or July before the chaos of August. It’s our favourite place to go and we will be returning.Guest review byLindaAustralia - 6.0

I did not really explore the locale ... struck me as not a huge amount to do - but I was very happy with the facilities at the Hotel Melodia. Lots of varied skiing - a car makes things very much easier than having to rely on local shuttles.Guest review byMr M to you.Malaysia - 10.0
The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday.
The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday. Unfortunately we came at the end of the season and SC and neighbouring villages were very quiet. The free bus service was a great help getting around the area and even as far out as to Brunico. Eating out in SC was limited but a great find was the restaurant at the campsite of Sass Diacia.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far.
Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.Guest review byAlenaCzech Republic - 6.0

La Vall is a good destination for vacations, but it is not a good choice for skiing because it is far from the ski lift and the ski bus does not go very often, so the journey to the ski lift takes a long time.Guest review byJasminaSerbia - 10.0
Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area.
Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is much higher and cooler than Bolzano. It is much smaller and easier to navigate than Cortina. It has access to very easy alpine meadow trails and more challenging rocky places above the tree line.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0

Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need for any mountain activities you can imagine or just pure relaxation. With mix of old buildings and modern ski infrastructure this place offers true alpine ambient. On top of surroundings I really enjoyed local cuisine that is simple but based on natural local ingredients exceptionally good in every restaurant we had a chance to visit. My favorites were "Chi Cianeis" for lunch and "Plazores" for dinner.Guest review byWiktorPoland
