- From US$371.91 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 846 reviewsMormoraia is technically an agriturismo, but in every way it matches — and even exceeds — the standard of a 4-star hotel. Set in the breathtaking Tuscan hills near San Gimignano, the atmosphere is romantic. From the moment you arrive, you're met with warm, attentive service that makes you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The dinners are good — each dish beautifully presented and full of flavor, offering a true taste of the region. Breakfasts are just as impressive, with a wide and varied selection that caters to every preference, and of course, excellent coffee to start the day right. This place is a gem for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Tuscany in style and comfort. Highly recommended for couples, food lovers, and anyone in need of a peaceful, luxurious getaway.Guest review byMalgorzataPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 363 reviewsHeaven on Earth. A place where time could stand still. Breathtaking nature, and such lovely, kind, and helpful staff and owners. The food was incredibly delicious! The breakfast selection was unbelievably large and unbelievably good. Dining at the restaurant in the evening is an absolute must – a flavor experience you won't forget. We had booked a suite (a separate cottage with a large private terrace), and it was 100% worth the money! Every little detail has been thought of at Podere Bellavista – truly every single one! We already want to go back… and we plan to do that someday defently!Guest review byKatiEstonia

The room was beautiful, rustic and cozy, the breakfast delicious. On a warm day, I could sit in the courtyard forever sipping cappuccino and petting their sweet family dog Merlot. San Gimignano is a medieval town which is very popular with Italian tourists as well as other EU/US visitors. It's like stepping back in time as everywhere is so original and dripping with age. There are plenty of shops selling quality foods, ceramics, fabrics, art, bakeries and even a potter who will make a pot in front of your eyes - in fact everything you can think of! Plenty of nice restaurants from simple pizzerias to Michelin starred will cater for every taste and budget. There are a number of old towers you can climb which will give you a wonderful birds eye view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside, but if you don't want to climb then a leisurely stroll around the ancient streets is a cultural treat.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count.
I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.Guest review byD. CaronanItaly - 8.0
The apartement was even nicer than pictures.
The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.Guest review byPatriciaCanada - 10.0

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!Guest review byLyndalAustralia - 10.0

Cute little spot, we only stayed there for one evening on our way down to Val D'Orcia from Pisa Airport. The town itself is lovely, we came on a Thursday evening and wandered into the village for a pizza at Happy Days which was great and so tasty, the staff were also lovely. There was also some great karaoke going on at one of the bars which seemed to be locals and some tourists enjoying their evening. It was lovely! Definitely recommend visiting here, there seemed to be lots more lovely restaurants too.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many possibilities as a central hub. We did however really enjoy a lovely walk in the scenic hills. The center was clean and had a really nice vibe to it and the locals were very friendly. We were also told by a historian that the city had a good museum of art although we didn't have time to investigate further unfortunately due to time.Guest review byBarker - 10.0

Montesportoli was a great location in central Tuscany and has a good road network to reach the popular tourist destinations. There was a large Co-op in the town and plenty of good restaurants in the area. It is a quiet town and is not full of tourists. The views in the area are stunning. If you are looking for a relaxing break and want to do some touring around this is an ideal location.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom
