- From US$596.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 546 reviewsThe hotel was amazing! We had a very good time. The hotel is quiet, has huge relaxing thermal pools, faces beautiful mountains, and the decor is stunning, it can’t get any better! The restaurant also has very good food, and the free breakfast was amazing, everything was fresh and tasty! We liked the hotel being secluded and a perfect size for relaxation. The staff there was all very polite and professional. We spoke with Michele and Claudia a lot in the front desk. They are simply the best! This is the highlight of our entire trip. Thank you very much!Guest review byJingminUnited States

Turin is not as touristy as other Italian cities I’ve visited and that made it really great. It has the lovely plazas and churches and also has this amazing view of the Alps. We visited the duomo, climbed the tower, shopped at the Saturday market, went to the Egyptian museum and walked along the Po River. We also made a half day trip to Reggia di Venaria which is gorgeous. We got around easily on buses or by foot. The city is not huge and the side trips are all well connected by public transport. I could have stayed longer and explored each square more and taken more day trips to nearby sites like the Superga, the Fenis, and even Mont Blanc! The cuisine here is heavy and not for everyone but we enjoyed trying new things (veal with tuna, savory flan, etc) and of course you have to get Barrolos and Barbereacas everywhere but also martinis and other vermouth cocktails.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I was there for one night only and for business but managed to see a lot in two hours. I visited the Duomo but didn't have time for the Cielo or the Tower by the Piazza Il Campo. But it's small enough to do in a day or two. It is very hilly and there are lots of cobbles so would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Also you can't book taxis in advance and it can be tricky at rush hour to get any taxi. Also to note the train station is far from the centre. I would advise to arrive by coach if you land in Florence (tram to the main bus station and then a coach that drops you in the centre of Siena).Guest review byChloé G.United Kingdom - 10.0

Travelling from Rome, we made La Spezia our base to launch into the Cinque Terre. Fiume269 was just 10-min walk away from the main train station to travel to the 5 towns. Buses from near our stay take you easily to La Spezia's main attractions.Guest review byRobin GomesItaly - 10.0

Loved how interesting Aosta was - Roman Ruins and a lot of history plus great bar & restaurant choices & friendly locals. Very busy each evening when everyone takes an aperitivo & a stroll & easy to get to by coach from Turin. Easy access to other towns & ski resorts in the Aosta Valley too. Also very reasonably priced compared to England.Guest review byClaireUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A beautiful village that reflects Tuscany well and has beautiful views from the various viewpoints. We went in September and although there were other visitors, there was no congestion that would interfere with enjoying the trip.Guest review bynirIsrael - 8.0
A very attractive town.
A very attractive town. The beaches are superb, but unless you head out of town you need to go into a beach club. There are no free access beaches in town. Some hotels have an arrangement with a beach club for free or discounted access for guests, so it is worth checking this if you intend to use the beaches. It can cost typically EUR30-40 for 2 chairs, a sunbed and an umbrella. They don't offer reduced rates until 3-4pm. That will add up after a few days. The restaurants are OK but nothing special. Most of them serve the same food, which can get boring. We ate in our hotel restaurant more than we usually would, but the quality and variety of food on offer was better than any outside restaurant we tried. Apart from the beach, shops and walking up and down the promenade, there is not much to actually do in Viarregio, so you may want to get out on some day trips. Pisa and Luca are accessible by train, although we found them both to be disappointing (especially Luca - what a dump!). We found the train service a bit hit and miss, although it is cheap. Consider hiring a car if you plan to get out of Viareggio. If you pick up and drop off at the airport, it will also be useful for airport transfers.Guest review byFarnboUnited Kingdom
