- From $187.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,666 reviewsSeamless check in and staff were extremely polite, as is expected of Japanese. You will need to pay for the booking as you arrive not when you check out. I was fine with that so no issues. View over the city was excellent and faced Hiroshima Castle side with perfect views. The TV does not have English programmes despite it saying you can watch CNN. Not a problem for me as I come on holiday to escape the TV. Room was cleaned daily and to a high standard. Location was central to everything and a short 5 minute walk to the Peace Park and A-Bomb Dome, which are well worth visiting for a day. Excellent hotel and would gladly return again. There is also a shop just to the right hand corner as you walk in through the main door, good value and convenient for a snack before bed or a drink, (alcohol sold as well).Guest review byMartinUnited Kingdom
- From $254.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,848 reviewsThis property was perfectly located, easy to access from the station and walking distance to shops, plenty of restaurants and the A-Bomb Dome & Memorial Park. The hotel was clean, tidy & staff were lovely. Breakfast was delicious and a night drink in the restaurant area each evening was just what we needed to wind down after a busy day exploring.Guest review byMollieAustralia

Everyone should go to Peace Park.
Everyone should go to Peace Park. There is so much to see there and it is very nicely done. Warning that children should be prepared for the museum and displays. It was difficult as an adult, but very glad I went. Garden by castle was beautiful.Guest review byNANCYUnited States - 10.0

Onomichi is a picturesque and walkable city with lots of charm. You can stroll the vintage shotegai, visit the art museum, enjoy a snack at Onomichi U2, take a temple walk, ride the ropeway, and of course, biking the Shimanami Kaido. The people are friendly and the food and shopping are great.Guest review byLindsayUnited States - 10.0

Miyajima was great for walking around and doing the ropeway to the top. A lot of little eateries and street food- good if you like seafood. Scenic with the giant Tori gate and shrines, woods, deer walking around. Miyajima was one of my favorite spots on our trip to Japan.Guest review byMarciaUnited States - 10.0

It’s a little off the main tourist route, which is why it’s worth a visit. In November the weather was great. It was easy to visit the castle and grounds and a bus trip to Tomonoura was great way to spend the day. A little fishing port famous for being in films and again not too busy. In Fukuyama a visit to the Clock and auto museum is like entering an Aladdin’s cave of wonders. It’s full of the past and not just cars and clocks. Lots of small owner run restaurants as well.Guest review byCostelloeCanada - 10.0
The owner/ front desk was super nice and friendly.
The owner/ front desk was super nice and friendly. He went above and beyond. Gave me the best room with lower price because I was solo and room is for 2. Yet the room and all areas in hotel were very clean and smelled good. It’s also across from train station and easy to commute everywhere. I will definitely stay again.Guest review bySemiraUnited States - 8.0

Mihara is a pocket of suburban quiet within the larger area of Hiroshima. Within easy ferry access of Okunoshima (Rabbit) Island, the Mihara area provides quiet, budget-friendly accommodations, and local specials. Mihara station also acts as a stop for the Shinkansen, so it is a great place to act as a base town during your travel. Please visit Mihara!Guest review byEmmaUnited States - 10.0

Kure is a great place for travelers who have an interest in Naval history, owing to Kure's long history as a naval port and the birthplace of famous ships like the battleship Yamato and aircraft carrier Akagi. The following restaurants were recommended to me so I also recommend them to future travelers! - Tone-honten (Curry Rice) - Dosanko Kure Hondori (Ramen) - Morisu (Ramen) - Jiyuken (Omurice) There is a rental bicycle service offered by JR by the station for 500円 where the bikes can be rented starting from 0800hrs and returned by 2000hrs.Guest review byRyanSingapore - 10.0

Very impressed with the peace memorial , museum and surrounds. Walking distance between all sights. Easy to walk to sights , lots of great places to eat and shop. So much better value than Tokyo or Osaka Great place to spend a day at Miyajima and return to. Very happy we spent two days here . Very easy to get around , great public transport and a very walkable city. Must try the Hiroshima pancakes - fun watching them Make them in front of you .Guest review bycolleenAustralia - 10.0

Because I got in late from doing the big bike ride over from Imabari, I was left with little time or energy to explore Onomichi. However, I did do some of the temple tour in the morning and it was excellent. I recommend taking the "ropeway" (I'd call it a cable car) to the hilltop and work your way down. I'd love to come back and explore more of this interesting little town.Guest review byVaytwTaiwan - 10.0

It does get busy during the day when lots of tourists come over by ferry for the day however we hired bikes and managed to stay clear of the crowds for the most part. The Island becomes very quite in the evening which is perfect, I would advise that you book a restaurant as lots of the island closes around 5-6pm so anything that is open later gets booked up. We were very lucky to just get the last free table on two occasions. Also the deer wandering around especially in the dusk and evening before al the ferries drop off are enchanting, however they are not like the deer in Nara park and there are lots of signs that remind people not to feed or bother the deer, not everyone follows these rules which is disappointing.Guest review byDonnaUnited Kingdom
