- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 168 reviewsThe room was great, it was positioned on the edge of the building but I had no problems sleeping for two nights, there was no noise at all (save maybe for some neighbouring guests that couldn't get their room code right, lol). The buffet breakfast was very good and there was even a free "welcome party" with some juice and alcohol in the very cozy common hall. In the same common hall there's complimentary towels, traditional pajamas and bath stuff to use in your room. The location was great, close to a big road (I think one of the main ones of Hiroshima) with lots of christmas lights and even a shopping center with various food options.Guest review byLucaItaly
- From $354.26 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,689 reviewsWe got a room on 15th floor with panoramic view of the city and the mountains. Wow! The room was big, really big, it had everything you needed including comfortable beds. The breakfast was fantastic! You can choose from Western buffet style or Japanese traditional food. Hiroshima peace memorial is just behind the corner, so no public transportation is needed and there are plethora of restaurants just outside of the hotel. We could not choose better hotel in Hiroshima!Guest review byRomanSwitzerland

Would have loved the change to pay for an upgrade to a larger room, but the hotel was full. I thought the staff did an excellent job to accommodate all of our needs and wishes. Would stay here again for sure. Club was delightful and staff nicely engaged.Guest review byJamesSwitzerland

Great location and easy to navigate.
Great location and easy to navigate. It is more than the Atomic Dome albeit the importance of this site, the people, culture and friendliness of people in Hiroshima is the real charm. Would definitely return.Guest review byPhilAustralia - 10.0

Onomichi is a picturesque and walkable city with lots of charm. You can stroll the vintage shotegai, visit the art museum, enjoy a snack at Onomichi U2, take a temple walk, ride the ropeway, and of course, biking the Shimanami Kaido. The people are friendly and the food and shopping are great.Guest review byLindsayUnited States - 10.0

Miyajima was great for walking around and doing the ropeway to the top. A lot of little eateries and street food- good if you like seafood. Scenic with the giant Tori gate and shrines, woods, deer walking around. Miyajima was one of my favorite spots on our trip to Japan.Guest review byMarciaUnited States - 10.0

It’s a little off the main tourist route, which is why it’s worth a visit. In November the weather was great. It was easy to visit the castle and grounds and a bus trip to Tomonoura was great way to spend the day. A little fishing port famous for being in films and again not too busy. In Fukuyama a visit to the Clock and auto museum is like entering an Aladdin’s cave of wonders. It’s full of the past and not just cars and clocks. Lots of small owner run restaurants as well.Guest review byCostelloeCanada - 10.0
The owner/ front desk was super nice and friendly.
The owner/ front desk was super nice and friendly. He went above and beyond. Gave me the best room with lower price because I was solo and room is for 2. Yet the room and all areas in hotel were very clean and smelled good. It’s also across from train station and easy to commute everywhere. I will definitely stay again.Guest review bySemiraUnited States - 8.0

Mihara is a pocket of suburban quiet within the larger area of Hiroshima. Within easy ferry access of Okunoshima (Rabbit) Island, the Mihara area provides quiet, budget-friendly accommodations, and local specials. Mihara station also acts as a stop for the Shinkansen, so it is a great place to act as a base town during your travel. Please visit Mihara!Guest review byEmmaUnited States - 10.0

Kure is a great place for travelers who have an interest in Naval history, owing to Kure's long history as a naval port and the birthplace of famous ships like the battleship Yamato and aircraft carrier Akagi. The following restaurants were recommended to me so I also recommend them to future travelers! - Tone-honten (Curry Rice) - Dosanko Kure Hondori (Ramen) - Morisu (Ramen) - Jiyuken (Omurice) There is a rental bicycle service offered by JR by the station for 500円 where the bikes can be rented starting from 0800hrs and returned by 2000hrs.Guest review byRyanSingapore - 10.0
Everyone should go to Peace Park.
Everyone should go to Peace Park. There is so much to see there and it is very nicely done. Warning that children should be prepared for the museum and displays. It was difficult as an adult, but very glad I went. Garden by castle was beautiful.Guest review byNANCYUnited States - 10.0

Because I got in late from doing the big bike ride over from Imabari, I was left with little time or energy to explore Onomichi. However, I did do some of the temple tour in the morning and it was excellent. I recommend taking the "ropeway" (I'd call it a cable car) to the hilltop and work your way down. I'd love to come back and explore more of this interesting little town.Guest review byVaytwTaiwan - 10.0

It does get busy during the day when lots of tourists come over by ferry for the day however we hired bikes and managed to stay clear of the crowds for the most part. The Island becomes very quite in the evening which is perfect, I would advise that you book a restaurant as lots of the island closes around 5-6pm so anything that is open later gets booked up. We were very lucky to just get the last free table on two occasions. Also the deer wandering around especially in the dusk and evening before al the ferries drop off are enchanting, however they are not like the deer in Nara park and there are lots of signs that remind people not to feed or bother the deer, not everyone follows these rules which is disappointing.Guest review byDonnaUnited Kingdom
