- From US$20 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 230 reviewsThis place is magical and a little slice of paradise. The French owner, Lionel, was an absolute gem and helped us with booking everything we needed like excursions and transportation. Their Khmer chef is super talented and I even asked her to teach me how to make her mango salad (after I ordered it 4 times in a row! lol It was that delicious). She was wonderful and agreed. My family loved her food so much that we ate at Q more than at outside restaurants which we normally don't do. I'm a foodie and she's fabulous! Besides Lionel and his staff, the pool is the star of this place. It's nestled in the middle of the jungle and you can sit and just listen to all of the wild life around you. You may see a monkey or 10 as well. It's also big enough to swim laps! Individual bungalows are simple, but comfortable and we never even locked our door once we arrived. It felt like staying with family. We brought our two boys and dog from USA and after 2 1/2 months of traveling in Vietnam, I felt like I found heaven in our first Cambodian stay. Highly recommend!!! If you read this Lionel, thank you again so much for your hospitality! We won't forget you or your property! :)Guest review byStefanieUnited States
- From US$116 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 440 reviewsAbsolutely everything from the Architecture to the big rooms and the services provided by the employees, especially the receptionist, but also the staff at the morning buffet. They were always very attentive which is highly appreciated. I absolutely recommend the „cliff“ rooms, it‘s worth the money. They are huge and I‘ve never seen a higher ceiling. I can recommend: - the tasty morning buffet with amazing views - the infinity pool with amazing views - bus service: we reserved the bus to Phnom Penh at the hotel The flexibility of the staff is exceptional. Moreover, communication was always good. I was informed about anything I needed to know, also through the apps. I would choose this accommodation again!Guest review byFlamurSwitzerland
- From US$91.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 107 reviewsClean, spacious rooms with great AC. Pool is huge and cleaned daily. Plenty of loungers, play area for children and a small pool area for children. Breakfast was simple and nice. The food and drinks in the pool bar were brilliant. We ate here every night. It is close to Sunset Cafe, Kep National Park and the boats to tour islands and rabbit island. Kep Beach is a short walk and is lovely. We used a regular tuk tuk and this was the handiest way to get around. I would highly recommend this accommodation if staying in Kep.Guest review bydeeoshea92Ireland
- From US$82 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 161 reviewsThe hotel is well located and surrounded by nature. We found it very cosy and with a nice vibe - the swimming pool is great at all times of the day. The owner Lionel and the manager Marie are extremely kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. They offer laundry service at a fair price and also rental of scooters. Good breakfast.Guest review byGiorgiaBelgium

The staff is super helpful to organize private cars, tours, give you restaurant recommendations etc... The breakfast is great and served on a terrace with a sea view. The pool was stunning. It's about 2 minutes walk from the crab market, which is lively and fun and the restaurants of kep. If you get the chance take a tuktuk up to Led Zeps for the sunset, it's magical.Guest review byClaireUnited Kingdom

Kep tourism has not picked up like in neighboring Vietnam or Thailand and is probably for slightly more adventurous type of travelers (incl. with kids). Indeed, the city remains very green, airy and offers a truly Cambodian experience. Think crab market with slinging hammocks, mangrove boat trips, secluded pagodas, off grid guesthouses on Rabbit Island (disconnection!), nice dinner by the sea or even a gentle hike in the National Park. Renting motorbikes to visit caves or Kampot nearby are nice add-ons for a longer stay.Guest review byLucasFrance - 8.0
Kep was a great day trip for us.
Kep was a great day trip for us. We walked in the National Park, took a dip at the beach, got a beer by the seafront and chilled in a hammock and then got food in the market and a restaurant. We had excellent seafood in the market (squid in pepper sauce for 75c!) and sunset margaritas Parts of the seafront were totally empty/abandoned - empty lots on the boardwalks. It was quite different to what we had read in guidebooks I think. Perhaps development going on? We also had quite an aggressive Tuk Tuk driver who had driven us to our accom the night before follow us from point to point during the day who would not stop engaging with us.. even when we said no repeatedly which made us (2 females) quite uncomfortable, especially arranging Tuk Tuk for our next journey. Having travelled to many other countries in SE Asia before, I found this a lot. Be careful.Guest review byMoyaIreland - 10.0
We spent 2 nights in Kep on the way to the Vietnam border (...
We spent 2 nights in Kep on the way to the Vietnam border (Ha Tien). Kep was the most chilled, relaxed place I have visited in Cambodia. Fantastic crab restaurants right on the water, but no tourist markets/pressure to buy things. Amazing sunsets over the gulf and islands each day - lovely place to come and do nothing but wonder around, eat great seafood and relax.Guest review byAckhurstSmithsAustralia
