The location is slightly away from town but easily accessible by walking or tuk-tuk. the views from our hotel room were stunning! The property itself has a lot to offer, with two different restaurants and a beautiful garden at the top of the hill where it is situated. The staff were incredibly nice, and the breakfast was exceptional. We opted for a massage at the wellness center, and it was a 10/10! The ladies there are lovely and highly skilled. I highly recommend getting a treatment—it’s the perfect cherry on top

we spent an amazing weekend at this place. The staff prepared a very nice room for us with decorations and fruits in honor of our honeymoon. The atmosphere in this place is amazing! The headline is - if you book to stay here you won’t regret it. This is the only 10/10 review I’ve ever given. This place is for you if you like…beautiful views, great food, comfortable beds, interesting activities, relaxing by the pool, excellent massages. The staff are the warmest and most helpful people who genuinely take pride in their work and support each other. Special mention to Rushanthi, Nadan, Shiva and Janarthan but all the staff are helpful, nothing is too much trouble, including helping us find the best dosa we’ve ever had in the local town of Hatton. Highly recommend the tea tour, we learnt so much, and the local self-guided walk.

We would give 15 out of 10 if it is possible. Place is very nice, clean, comfortable. We were group of 5 and used 2 rooms, both were great. Young couple who runs this place are very nice, helpful. We also had breakfast in guest house and it was fresh and tasty. View from the house is something special. House is out of center but with tuk tuk you will need no more than 5 minutes. We slept very good due to fresh air and calmness.

    Every aspect of this boutique, modern eco lodge was AMAZING! We stayed for a couple of days after Christmas and loved the festive feel, fire pits, and beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The buildings blend in with the landscape and interiors are stunning - recommend staying in Chalet Neru. The food was delicious and higher end and the fruit / veg grown onsite. Our kids loved the farm tour and homemade ice cream and jams. All staff were super friendly, professional and seemed genuinely happy to work there. Kitchen was accommodating with my allergy restrictions. I’d been concerned about insects before we arrived however only spotted a couple of stick insects outdoors during our trip. Everyone in our family wished we could have stayed at the property for at least one more night.

    AMAZING!! Throwback to colonial Ceylon with a modern sustainable touch. Where to start.. the fire place? the beautifully cut bushes in the garden? the amazing breakfast and dinner? the super comfortable beds and spacious rooms? the environmental conscious (no plastic, waste water treatment, etc) projects in the hotel? Everything was a 10/10! The price for the night is absolutely great for the value. The staff is very friendly, rooms are super comfy!! The dinner was a bit pricey for Sri Lanka but absolutely delicious. Totally recommend!

Heritage building with a great history, beautifull interiors, old photos in holls, hidden bar rooms etc... we spent couple of hours to explore the hotel. Stuff is very friendly and one of manager even made a small excursion for us while we were waiting. Welcome hot soup was what we needed cz at night is quite chilly outside. The restaurant was pretty delisious and our servant Antony made our dinner even better.

    Besides doing the incredibly beautiful hike to Adams Peak, you can hire a tuktuk driver to guide you to Morey's Waterfall. the best waterfall we got to hike to in Sri lanka, challenging 1 hour hike but you'll get to stroll thru lush tea plantations and walk along side Lake Morey.

    Maskeliya is a market town which could be lot more .The hilly terrain is a planners dream. I imagine the buildings painted pastal pink and yellow, flower pots hanging from the eves, it could be a destination rather than a quick stop to buy supplies on the way to elsewhere as is now.

    If you are into budget travel and want a genuine local...

    If you are into budget travel and want a genuine local experience, NanuOya is a good town to visit. It’s very close to the main tourist town Nuwara Eliya (approx 9km away) and has buses heading there every 20mins. You can also get there by train. The locals are very helpful and kind. You get a few places to eat food like South Indian dishes and koththu and a few places to buy liquor from. There are two waterfalls and the larger, wider one located inside the Glassough tea estate is a place where you can bathe in on a sunny day. It’s a lovely little town surrounded by tea estates!

    Excellent location for thr Pekoe Trail, good rooms and delicious food. I understand there will be facilities for guides accompanying parties. The hotel is on several levels so not suitable for people with disabilities.

    Wonderful place to stay and good place to explore. We went to Lover's Leap Waterfalls, Gregory lake, Sita Temple, Hanuman Temple, Labookellie Tea Centre, Ambewela Farms, Victoria Park, Hakgala Botanical Gardens and Grand Hotel.

    Do not climb on Saturdays as you will most probably not be...

    Do not climb on Saturdays as you will most probably not be able to reach the top. It was over-crowded and the path is narrow the last 500 meters. Got stuck in one spot for 45 minutes and decided to turn around. Still got amazing views though and the experience of local pilgrimage which was a privilege!

    Hatton is the second largest city in Nuwara Eliya District has so many places to visit.The Adams peak is the most venerated place in the area.Many reserviors and watterfalls can see in this area.Seven virgin mountains,Sri pada Forest can be explored during the stay.
