Spacious accommodation including a large room and bathroom, and many communal sitting areas. Each room also includes a private terrace or veranda with comfortable furniture.
The staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, with a special mention to the chef Manoj who created beautifully presented, freshly cooked and most importantly delicious food. He catered each meal to our specific requests and dietary needs.
It is a wonderful property to stay and relax. It’s worth noting that there’s nothing to walk out to and the town is a bit of a distance, but you will have a lovely time staying and relaxing at this hotel.
The beach itself is stunning, the water is calm, clean and warm and its is fringed by palms. Paradise

RussiaHard to specify what we liked most. We liked AKI VILLA! The location is 30 minutes walk from most hotels in Pasikuda but for us it was good with not many people around. The facility is very well maintained, it is very green. Lots of mango, coconut trees and palms on the territory. The pool is warm, very clean and welcoming :) We had breakfasts included - it was Sri Lankan type, very tasty and it was enough till dinner in the evening. Dinners we had there were one the best meals we ever had. So tasty. The lady that cooks all meals is fantastic. We even asked for some recipies.
Beach - should I say- empty beach is just 7 minutes walk from villa. Most likely you will be accopanied by two lovely dogs from villa. And they will guard you as well if someone tries to come close to you.
The staff - Mr. Vinod was extremely helpful, he helped us to get a medicine from local pharmacy, gave us a tent for the beach and tried to fullfill our every smallest wish. So if you want to have calm and peaceful time it is definately the place.

AustraliaJust an absolute tropical dream. The hotel is very beautiful and feels very relaxed to be in. The spaces are thoughtful and there are lots of places to lounge and relax so you feel like you are on a private retreat even with other guests.
Our favourite part was the loungers under big beautiful native trees on the beach. They are tucked under trees but right on the water so you can swim in the ocean and then lay in the shade and drink mango juice 👌 their spot on the beach is also more peaceful and secluded than some of the other resorts.
The staff were very generous and kind! We are vegan and their chef catered easily for us. They also just made the most heavenly dishes - their buffets (breakfast and dinner) are 10/10 the food was so good.
We can't rate it high enough - it was a surprise favourite stop for us on our trip! Very peaceful and just what we needed.

(September 2024) The hotel rooms were modern and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. They also have a dedicated water sports section that offered exciting Jet Ski rides and a snorkeling trip to the nearby "Kayankerni" Coral Reef for a reasonable additional cost. Snorkeling was an amazing first-time experience for both my wife and me, and it was impressive that even some 5-star hotels do not have a water sports center like this one. The hotel features a large swimming pool with a depth of 9 feet at one end, perfect for a refreshing swim. The location is ideal, with no stones or corals that could hurt your feet while enjoying the beach. From the first moment to the end we were looked after by the friendly staff, especially Rishopana and Kanogitha. We booked this resort for a room with direct access to the pool and we were lucky to get perhaps the nicest room. But what makes this resort special is the people who work here. We also spoke with the friendly beach/pool attendant S. and likewise the waiters and cooks at breakfast and dinner did everything they could to make the guests happy. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. My husband was delighted that the waiters here could spin a beer with a foam cap. The room was very nice and clean. The pool was cleaned regularly too. Kalkudah is one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka! The water here has an amazing emerald colour and it is very clean, transparent. It is a very long and beautiful sandy beach with a free natural spirit, with hardly anyone around. We enjoyed swimming almost all the day! No tourist attractions but some restaurants like Laya Waves are and Swiss Cafe on the shore are the options. Kalkudah works fine for yoga, meditation, walking along, etc. There are some cows and their manure in some spots, but it is better than plastic garbage. Some days the waves were bigger than Passikuda, but no corals on Kalkudah. Comparing to Passikuda we liked Kalkudah much better. Passikuda is over crowded with a long chain of luxury hotels and is not as beautiful. Anyway if anyone is coming with children Passikuda has shallow waters, as well as some tourists attractions. I think the main reason to go to Pasikuda is for the beach which is beautiful, with white sand and clear water, and where it is safe to swim.
