Amazing place to stay with wonderful staff. Very friendly and willing to help with anything. Kitchen closes at 6pm (at least on the day we were there) but they made delicious dinner for us at 7:30 pm. We had a top floor room with stunning views and a very comfortable bed. Accommodation is next to the road so can be a bit noisy at night.

Staying at Ceylon Resort Wilpattu was like being welcomed into a family. From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff made us feel right at home. The warm, familial atmosphere was truly one of the highlights of our stay. To our surprise and delight, we were even given an upgrade for our accommodation, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and perfectly designed to blend comfort with the natural beauty of the surroundings. A special mention goes to the Roshan's wife, whose cooking was absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was a feast of authentic Sri Lankan flavors, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an extra touch of love. Dining at the resort felt like sharing a meal with family, and it was easily some of the best food we had during our entire trip. The service was beyond outstanding. The team went above and beyond to ensure every guest had an unforgettable experience. Whether it was arranging our safari to Wilpattu National Park, providing insightful tips about the area, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, their attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, the surprise upgrade, and world-class cuisine made this stay truly special. I stayed at this accommodation for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. The owner is very nice and gave me a lot of support in planning the journey to and from the hotel. He also planned the safari for me. This was a great experience as the guide had a lot of knowledge. Another highlight was the dinner. The room was perfectly fine for the two nights. The room was very clean. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a wonderful time here. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a private pool and a beautiful river view. The bed was super cozy and the AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was excellent and really delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Wilpattu!

We really enjoyed our stay in the jungle at Wilpattu. Very clean and spacious room with an amazing pool with views on the green surroundings. Kuma is a great host and the chef prepares amazing local dishes. If you want a jungle experience with good comfort we definitely recommend

We stayed here for our Safari in Wilpattu National Park and had a very good experience. We were looking for a hotel close to the park with air conditioning, a pool, and dinner service – all of these expectations were fully met. The hotel looks modern and very clean, and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. A special detail was that we received our breakfast at 5:30 a.m. for the safari, which was very thoughtful. My 7-year-old son is a picky eater and did not like the dinner at first – not because of the kitchen, but simply his taste. The staff were very attentive and helped us find something special for him, which we really appreciated. The view of the lake from our room was fantastic. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy.

In short, Just Epic in every aspect. The location and the environment is beautiful, calm and clean. There is so much to walk and explore. The villas are surrounded by nature, they are spacious, clean and very accommodating. The food is extremely good. Most importantly, the hospitality is off the charts. Overall the experience was exceptional. I recommend this place to any locals or foreigners who are looking to explore the Puttalam & Kalpitiya area. Would definitely visit this place again.
