Lovely and clean hotel and really nice and friendly staff. They were very hospitable. Me and my son enjoyed using the pool, which they allowed at any time. Breakfast was very good, nice range of hot and cold food. Great location too, we walked about 5 minutes to a bus stop where you can catch a bus for 4 dirhams into jma el fna.

The hosts gave us a warm welcome and treated us to tea and delicious traditional sweets upon arrival. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the medina and just a short walk from all the main attractions. Our room was exceptionally clean, and filled with a fresh scent. The staff were incredibly friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. A special mention to Zacharia, who served our breakfast each morning, he was exceptionally kind and attentive! Breakfast was served on the rooftop, offering a generous, traditional spread with fresh bread and many other delicious things! A truly memorable stay!

The vegetation - flowering trees and bushes, the sound of running water everywhere is mesmerizing. The Riyad could not be more exquisite provided one does not have a problem managing a lot of stairs. I would love to return!

    I was there again and I always find something interesting in the city and its surroundings. This time I encountered an attempt to overcharge the taxi fare.You can eat meals without any worries, even in small bars, they are tasty.

    Mix of old town, port and beach.

    Mix of old town, port and beach. In danger of becoming a little overrun with tourists during day. All felt very safe. Loads of usual souk shops - especially notable are the wood ones (Thuya). Large gently sloping beach, good for watersports. Don't miss the port - very active during day - buy some fish and get it cooked nearby very cheaply, but can get very busy (and chaotic!). Wide range of restaurants, recommend the Ocean Vagabond at far end of beach. Taros bar is liveliest place, but drinks pricey. Note of caution : We did get get some food poisoning, difficult to be precise, but seemed to stem from one meal at a 'good' restaurant ( I won't name and shame as cannot be totally sure !?) , probably from a salad or fruit dessert ?

    The hospitality and the gorgeous setting were my two favorite aspects of the Riad Jnane Imlil and the village of Imlil. The surroundings are majestic and the staff of the riad were so very warm. The food was delicious and convenient (breakfast was included, and you can purchase dinner and eat in the building). I was not feeling well from before I arrived in Imlil, and still it was a beautiful place to rest in. We had planned to do a full-day trek and have lunch with a Berber family in their home, but had to cancel due to my illness. Still, we walked around a bit in the village and that was so very pleasant. The riad had a pool and has beautiful terraces and balconies to enjoy the gorgeous views from. I highly recommend this riad to anyone.

    Very nice city and friendly people. Personally I prefer the quiet places. Unlikely Marrakesh, Safi is very quiet and nice city to discover and learn about in a week, you will be able to make friends easily and recognise the locals quicker. Also the beach and the areas around it is very close and the prices are very affordable.

    Ourika is breath taking.

    Ourika is breath taking. The restaurants with the river flowing is amazing. The kids loved splashing in the river. The waterfall is well worth exploring. The local residents are very welcoming and friendly. I definitely want to visit Ourika again!

    A dry dusty town surrounded by beautiful mountains. peaceful, friendly and felt very safe. SO much cleaner than the cities. Lots of Market stalls on the way in / out and these are better prices than in marakesh
