Hilton Taghazout Bay Beach Resort & Spa ensured our anniversary was a truly exceptional experience. Highlights: - Breakfast [Azul] was a comprehensive buffet of both hot & continental options. Everything was well-considered & fresh, but also felt quite luxe – special thank you to Oumaima for her interpersonal, friendly approach to service ⭐ - We requested anniversary extras so they surprised us with elaborate, fragrant displays of hand-picked flowers at their evening restaurant [Imim’s] & in our suite – special thank you to Beltoum for going above & beyond to arrange this ⭐ - Behind the resort there was a maintained promenade overlooking the ocean. Would particularly recommend this for evening strolls, where you can observe the Hilton’s lovely exterior lighting. Special thank you to Abderrahim who was on security but also enthusiastic to act as a resort guide. From a practical angle, the resort was clean, well-stocked & functional. When something wasn't quite right, we informed Yahia or the chief concierge Mohamed, who arranged for our issues to be quickly resolved. The front desk also helped us with airport transfers (which were timely & trustworthy) & room upgrades. Thanks for your service!

Our stay at Riad Benyara was wonderful. We had the area off the staircase to the pool which was its own private suite with a hallway which connected the small bedroom and the bathroom. The room and bathroom were clean. The pool and terrace were a lovely place to escape the hot Taroudant afternoons. The location is just off a main road so it was quiet throughout the day. It's conveniently located to walk throughout town to shops, restaurants, and souks. The staff were friendly and even did laundry for us during our stay. Breakfast was good, very heavy on bread items, which seems to be common for Moroccan breakfasts, so be prepared for that. All in all this was a great location to spend several days in Taroudant.

    10/10 overall. The best view to the magic bay. It's our second time in the wind house and definitely won't be the last! The apartment is great. It has everything you need and more. Our host Kaltouma was amazing. She even baked for us a delicious chocolate cake with some traditional Maroccan tea. Can't wait to go back!

    Been to dirtier places than Agadir but there was always been something of interest. Why I chose it I cannot think and there is no chance of me returning. My recommendation: Make sure you have a good reason for going and go as high end as you can afford.

    Booking.com 's representation of where this apartment is is totally inaccurate.They show it as being in the middle of Taghazout. It is not, it is miles from anywhere. £8 in a taxi to get into Taghazout, no real restaurants or shops near by. Contacted the apartment agents but the lady was so rude and unhelpful. We ended up having to move to Agadir and having to spend extra money on a hotel. Totally disappointed in booking .com. Looking for some kind of compensation as we are £300 out of pocket because we had to book a hotel as we could not spend 9 days in the middle of nowhere.Totally misled by booking.com's picture of the location of the apartment.

Whether you're a surfer chasing the longest wave in Africa, a yogi in search of stillness, or a traveler wanting to unplug and reconnect, Imsouane has a quiet magic that gets under your skin. The pace here is beautifully slow — sunrise surf sessions, fresh fish straight from the harbor, golden hour strolls along the cliffs, and starry skies at night. It’s not a party town; it’s a place to exhale. Locals are kind and welcoming, the surf community is humble and open, and everything you need is within a short walk: cafés, beach shacks, viewpoints, and nature. There's an authenticity here that’s increasingly rare. After visiting many many countries, I can honestly say Imsouane is one of those few places I carry in my heart long after leaving. I will definitely be back!!

    Interesting town with souks and a historical setting where Ali Baba the original film was shot . A local man attached himself to us and ended up giving an informal guided tour. The restaurant we had a lunch was tasty and not expensive. We missed a horse candle cart tour offered at our hotel which would have been better use of our time and visit.

    There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. There are also unofficial 'parking attendants' everywhere who force you to pay to park in free parking areas.

    Great little town where you can stock up on food, souvenirs and get petrol. Locals are super friendly and laid back and things that we bought at the market were definitely cheaper than we found in Taroudant. Hiking must be awesome but we didn't have enough time. In a rental car its super easy to get around.

    The kasbah is simply an absolutely beautiful place where you become immersed into the culture. Very genuine hospitality met us the minute we came through the gate and it did not take long to be welcomed with hot tea and enjoy.

    There were excellent markets around the hotel area - I picked up some real bargains. The large supermarket was good and has a cash machine. I was only staying one night before my flight so didnt venture out very far, Cab to the airport was 200mads.

    We had an all-inclusive hotel, therefore we didn't go out to eat or drink. Activities we did: -Jet skis- we didn't pre-book. Just rock up to the beach and barter! We got a great deal for 2 pax 15 min €50 (on their price list it was €50 for 1 pax 20min). -Quad bike tour in the Sahara- this we booked online on the day. Because it was last minute we got a half price discount for €19pp. This included; hotel pickup/drop off, 3 hour quad bike tour, sand surfing and tea break at the beach. Amazing experience. -Souk el Had- biggest market in Africa- a must! Go in prepared and don't get scammed like we did 5 min in. Barter. Barter. BARTER. Check online on TikTok for price comparisons on how much things should be. But amazing experience and very clean compared to other markets I had been to. Try the sugar cane juice- there's a man with a lil cart at the very back.

    Lovely resort with great surf.

    Lovely resort with great surf. Old fishing town which meant there was some noise in the morning. Nice restaurants and stalls and 3 different beaches walkable from centre. Not sure if we were unlucky but there was noise/music in early hours a couple of nights.
