- From US$2,348.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 338 reviewsWe can't really start to describe our stay without first saying that this place is heaven on earth! We can't describe how welcome and how well we were taken care of by the amazing staff! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for Christmas and New Years and upon arrival the staff greeted us on the jetty and we were introduced to our ambassador Shuhaan who we really can't complement enough on how helpful he was with everything, settling in and getting to know the island, everything important to know, bookings of restaurants, excursions and just overall the many many nice talks we had! Everything from our housekeeper Saif who wrote nice things on our bed with coconut leafs, folded cute animals out of towels and preparing surprise bubble baths for us to all of the chefs and staff at the various restaurants we especially talked a lot with Abhi at Aqua Orange, as well as the chefs Nikhil, Namal, Malaka and of course Leo who we really enjoyed our private cooking class with! Not only did we get to spend time in our amazing villa but we also spent so much time snorkeling around the amazing house reef at Iru Veli, we saw so much marine wildlife on the reef around the island! We also got to go on a Manta Ray/Whaleshark/Sea Turtle excursion it was the most incredible experience ever, especially to spend your New Years eve snorkeling with these majestic animals all under perfect guidance from Ammaday at the divecenter :-) We also made good use of the spa and booked 2 spa sessions for the steam room, sauna and hot/cold pools, and also two different massages. Darma took so good care of us and informed us about the different types of massage and what would suit our needs Wayan and Reni took care of our massages and we have never felt so relaxed! Lastly I need to mention Ammu, this man can make everything happen on this island, thank you so so much for taking care of us and our needs! The only thing I can say go to Iru Veli! It is worth every...Guest review byAlexander NiklasDenmark
- From US$1,055.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 53 reviewsIt was a perfect family vacation thanks to the lovely staff, services, facilities and the island. We appreciated the kindness the Ayada staff showed especially towards our little child. Always gentle and helpful with a smile in their face and no matter if butler, waiter, director, kitchen chef, masseur, transportation staff. The service was always impeccable with regards to our necessities: getting organized a microwave to heat up our child's food, getting food to our room, cleaning up the room, getting some dessert to our room. Our Butler Zak was available 24/7 and very helpful for everything we needed. We even received an upgrade for our stay with a swimming pool and direct access to the beach. When asking why, they said: "Because we love you!" Food quality and variety was good as well as the SPA massage we received. The offering of sport variety was amazing from football to volleyball to tennis and kayak. We especially enjoyed our daily bike tours on the island and the infinite swimming pool with beach view at Zero Degree. The island and its nature had a lot to offer: wonderfull beach, crystal water, baby sharks, crabs, bats. An unforgettable experience we will always keep it in our heart and will regress one day for sure.Guest review byAlexandraGermany
- From US$884.02 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 271 reviewsit is an amazing place… most impressive was the arrival, to see this beautiful water and the White House’s.. you have to know, that there is a Shop were you can get some souvenirs and usual things like creams for the sun, Red Bull, chips and other snacks the other Atoll which is 4* had all the events held there. it also is a very nice staying place. the most difference from the 4* and 5* are: 5* is the main restaurant so it is closer. also is the 5* calmer and there are less people on the island 4* is more for younger people I would say, because of the events and there is also the sports place, gym, sports bar + both had a pool and a pool bar + both had amazing beach spots + both were very clean in all facilities the arrangement for arrival and departure was perfect, they took all the work for you and you couldn’t go „lost“ food: everyday and every time the food was different and not boring or same things. so there’s food for everyone. I’m very picky so I had every time something to eat.Guest review byMaidaAustria

The property is stunning, beautifully maintained, and offers a true sense of peace and exclusivity. The service was outstanding, with every member of staff going above and beyond to make us feel special. The food was exceptional and the spa treatments were among the best we’ve ever experienced. We left feeling truly cared for and can’t wait to return.Guest review byFranciscoSpain

Lovely pool area. Also a good sea front with tree shade & loungers. A beautiful beach "Bounty advert style" is within a 5 minutes walk. Delicious food with plenty of maldivian/asian dishes spiced to perfection. live music twice a week (Great Band). Exceptional value compared to island resorts.Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 24 reviewsThe food was superb a lot of thought went into ensuring that different food was available throughout our time at the resort. I particularly liked the evening where staff from each country represented at the resort produced a meal from their country. The staff at the resort were very inclusive, it made you feel like one big family.Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom

I enjoyed pretty much everything.
I enjoyed pretty much everything. It was a super place to go for a one week holiday. You're a captivated audience on such a small island but there was more than enough to keep you occupied for the week. The food was excellent, the staff extremely supportive and I think that RIU have a near perfect arrangement for the 'all inclusive' experience.Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Amazing resort I would highly recommend.
Amazing resort I would highly recommend. This was our second stay at Kandima and our experience exceeded the first. Good selection of meals provided throughout the day and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our shuttle bus driver Gasimm was very patient and informative on the ecosystem. Excellent facilities for children.Guest review byClarkeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you are on a budget, using the local ferry's are a big save in regards to travel and make Island hopping do able. They are 3 time the length of time, at 1 tenth of the price of a speedboat. We still enjoyed sitting out front and watching the dolphins swim with the boat. The trip back was empty and we chatted to the crew. (30 min speedboat vs 1h30 Ferry) The Ferry goes ever 2 days so we did the Maafushi to Fulidhoo, slept 2 nights then got onto it again from Thinadhoo. Two beautiful Islands.Guest review bymorneSouth Africa - 10.0
Lovely island that can be walked around in 20-30 mins.
Lovely island that can be walked around in 20-30 mins. Great sandy beaches, beautiful crystal clear waters, plenty of sea life (fish, rays, turtles, reef sharks etc) that all can be observed from the beach or from your over-water bungalow. One side of the island looks out to open sea and the other side of the islands looks towards neighboring islands in the same atoll. The walk from the room to the reception area or the restaurant or the dive shop are all 5-10 mins (but some rooms are much closer to the facilities such as the beach bungalows). Our room was 501 which was one of the Pool Suites. There are 4 pool suites in total. Room 501 has access to the snorkeling reef and at low tide you can enjoy your own private swimming pool. The staff said that Room 501 was the best of the Pool Suites so ask for this room specifically. The restaurant has an amazing selection of food from many different cultures (Indian, Sri Lankan, Maldives, Japanese, Korean, western cuisine...) and always an abundance of fresh produce, fruits, salads. If you take up the All Inclusive dining package then all meals and drinks - even cocktails by the pool - are included. Also included the mini bar in your room however this is only restocked daily. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly and always willing to help. The room was cleaned daily and the pool was cleaned every 2nd day. What I really appreciated was the pool cleaner asking me if I wanted to add chlorine to the pool. I opted to NOT add chlorine as the pool water flows over the infinity edge into the reef. Having the pool vacuumed every 2nd day was also not necessary but the staff were happy to assist and wanted to make sure you had a great stay. We visited Velifushi in April 2024 which was lovely weather around 32 Deg C. We had a few brief storms that lasted no more than 10 mins during the early hours of the morning but the daytimes were great weather. Highly recommend Velifushi to you.Guest review byPablo_123Australia - 10.0

If you ever can go to Maldives, there is only one place: Madifushi Private Islands. It's a new heaven on earth, and the experience will blow you away. The activities, the SPA, the food, the staff, Sacha, the manager [Omar], the room service the views. I can't stop, honestly. Never been to a better place.Guest review byAllen O.United Kingdom - 10.0

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left they made us feel so welcome and so special. Everyone in the team just wanted to ensure that we had the best time. From the captain/boss Ahmed, to John the host, to Arbi and the waiters, the chef and through to all the guys on the boat. We got to know them all and felt like part of a family. I couldn’t recommend it enough and if we could afford to, we’d go back next week! If you want the bustle of a big resort, then maybe this is not for you, but if you want to be somewhere that celebrates the beauty of nature and all that the Maldives has to offer, with people who love to show that to you, then this is the place for you. We felt like we knew the whole team by the end, they were all so genuine and thoughtful and caring. We’ve seldom had such personal attentive service and we’ve stayed in many places around the world, and they made our 25th anniversary such a special evening. If you want beauty, nature, simplicity, comfort, good food, great service and fantastic adventures with amazing attention to detail then just book Thari Fushi. We miss you all!Guest review byAlexisUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The reef surrounding the island is simply amazing,...
The reef surrounding the island is simply amazing, particularly the exit next to the water villas (nr. 4) and the ones facing north-west (nr. 5 & 6). Just snorkeling we had the chance to see an incredible variety of fishes and corals, we also swam alongside a turtle and sharks a couple of times! Staff is great, always gentle, kind and willing to help and assist. The food is great both in quality and in variety of offer, we really enjoyed our full board selection. We particularly appreciated the lack of "holiday village entertainment" and the authentic look & feel of the island (preserved but not over constructed). The water villas should be refreshed - they are a gem but furniture is not well preserved and now quite old. Currently the villas have 3 kinds of roof, with different colors and some feature colored fabrics covering some pieces: it's a real pity as they do not look premium and ruin the overall scenery. I hope they are just temporary. Additionally, extra costs are quite a burden, as rates are high and you even need to pay for plain water even if on a full board service.Guest review bySarah MirneItaly - 10.0

Beautiful resort connected to two islands with a 1 km wooden bridge on top of the sea. The water pool Villa was amazing and quiet. The sky at night had all the starts in view. The personnel of the hotel friendly and attentive, would say “hello” and “good morning” to everyone. There are golf buggies to take you from all the places of the islands you are (waiting time was 5 to 15 min max). They offered us bicycles to move around and the vegetation in the islands was lash and fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is more options of food items at the buffet, lunch/dinner. If I compare the buffet lunch/dinners at the Residence Zanzibar… it has a big difference.Guest review byElliGreece - 8.0
You can have a good snorkeling and beach experience here.
You can have a good snorkeling and beach experience here. The islanders far outnumber the tourists. The island is generally quiet and clean but it does have a lot of modern infrastructure in a small area. We didn’t dive but there is a local dive shop. We also saw several live aboards anchored nearby so the diving must be good.Guest review byChristineCanada - 10.0
Perfect place for total relaxation.
Perfect place for total relaxation. Maybe a few more activities for the ‘oldies’ would be good. We loved the bingo and Kahootz but the party music wasn’t our style. Enjoyed the saxophone player and the Irish singer. During the day maybe trivia or games?Guest review byJulieanne
