Absolutely stellar experience! From the moment we reached the island, the staff were all very warmed and came to welcome us. As our flight was quite late, we reached the hotel at night and they let us check in and deal with the paperwork the next morning. Small details but it definitely helped us to settled and rested right in smoothly. The room was exactly as pictured, and in really top notch condition. A lot of attention and creative thought was given to design the entire space, making every corner looking so aesthetically pleasing. The price point was yet another impeccable one, definitely value for money. As it was quite new, the space doesn’t feel overpopulated but not cold. This hotel truly exceeded our expectations, and we felt very well taken care of. Definitely highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their warm hospitality, knowledge, and outstanding customer service that went above and beyond our expectations. The facilities were spotless, and our room was well-equipped with thoughtful amenities, including a smart TV, a kettle with tea and coffee, and a small fridge. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was a delight—the food was delicious, and the menu offered a wide variety of options. The staff even arranged a romantic beach dinner for us, which was absolutely unforgettable! The daily breakfast was out of this world, featuring both healthy, locally inspired dishes and classic options like toast, cereal, and fresh dairy products. I highly recommend staying at this little slice of paradise. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay the highlight of our holiday!

The hotel is a beachfront with a spectacular view! The name of the villa speaks for itself because the sun sets in front of the villa. The food is very delicious! Breakfast is at 7-8am for $10 Lunch is at 12pm-1pm for $12 Dinner is at 6pm-7pm for $15 You have to pre-order if you want to avail because they will only prepare a set of menu. The only downside is that whatever they prepare, you have no other option. But we liked everything they cooked! It comes with a side dish, dessert, main dish, juice, and snack. At first, we were looking for other cheaper options outside, but Sunset Villa is the best option. With other restaurants, you'll have to buy everything, even water. In Sunset Villa, it's already a set meal. Other tourists who booked hotel with others even order meals from Sunset Villa. The housekeeper cleans and replenishes the toiletries without even requesting. They do it when you go out for activities. No need to worry about your valuables because they have vault. Most importantly, ALL the staff are very accommodating. Always wearing a smile. They are quiet and very friendly. P.s. You can make unlimited coffee 😉

This was the best hotel I have had in Maldives. Finally I was so used to their facilities that the other hotels seemed quite bad to me. Everything was amazing, great bed, cleaning every day, hot shower, good breakfast, even a world electricity socket. And the diving with Go Divers was amazing too (manta’s, whale shark, turtles).

MALDIVES isn’t just good beaches, coral reefs and water activities, it’s more than that. You truly experience magnificent HOSPITALITY. I have stayed and travelled around the middle east, Turkey, and Australia and I must say that Maldivian hospitality was well ahead of what I have experienced around the world. I want to especially thank the following people who made our stay magnificent. Firstly, the most important guy-Island Host-Mr Zaki. Zaki went above & beyond with his service. For us coming up with a multicultural background (Australia-Pakistan), Zaki ensured that our stay on the island was as good as our home. Zaki was in continuous contact with me and would ensure that we are always having a good time. Zaki would send reminders about check in-check out time and everything. Let’s not forget, Zaki offered me some traditional (homeland) sweets/mouth freshener from his pocket which brought me back a lot of memories of my childhood. Having a TULSI in the Maldives was just WOW for me. I think Zaki deserves a promotion!!!! 💯♥️ Reena-Front Counter & Reception: Helped me with my regular queries and laundry schedule. Samjhana-Bageecha Restaurant: Her welcoming smile at meal times, made the food time even more enjoyable. Mohammed-Hulhangu Bar: What a generous guy with down to earth personality. Told me his story about his recent injury and left an impression on me for hard-work Shrijana-Hulhangu Bar: We participated in the Crab Race, and it was so good to see that even the staff was cheering for our Crab to win. Shrijana recommended good drinks, highly satisfied with the service. Recca-Al Tramonto Bar & Restaurant : We had our last evening meal here, and loved the hospitality and food. Recca was good with presentation & communication.

    Adaaran Club Rannalhi is a perfect destination for relaxation & heavenly stay for couples in Maldives. This resort is designed in such a way that every one can get comfort and entertainment. Their staffs are so cordial (reception, restaurant, bar everywhere). Throughout our stay, every interaction with the staff was a delight. I must mention the name of Mr ARUNA, who helped us during check-in and provided sufficient information about the island. The food was awesome, sitting arrangement in main bar was beautiful - one can enjoy the view of sea while drinking their favourite beverages and delicious food. They have a beach volleyball court too which is enjoyable. From the Water Bunglow, the sunset view was astonishing. This was one of the place from where i didn't want to leave. At the end, a beautiful gesture shown by Mr ARUNA and hotel staffs by waiving a Flag stating "Good Bye, See you Again", when we were leaving from the island. Highly recommended to get the experience of this island once in lifetime.

    First of all I would like to appreciate all the staff of kaani for their hospitality. Top notch. We stayed at kaani Beach hotel 103.108.109 from 15 to 18th. What a service. Start with the Mr Tiger, from male, incharge of the hotel. But he was everywhere from the receiving of the guest till we get dropped to the boat he was absolutely on every service we needed. God bless you my friend. The receptionist Suman from Nepal, absolutely amazing lady helped us through all the process to the booking and all the things we needed. Restaurent stuff, Aditya from nepal what an amazing personality and hospitality. Along with his team jowel, rony, anisur from Bangladesh. Provided us with the best private beach dinning experience we have ever experienced. The island tour guides' boat mans were amazing through out the trips. Thanks kaani team.     This was my second stay at LUX and once again it was a truly special experience. We stayed in August, with wonderful weather, in a beautiful water villa overlooking the crystal-clear sea. The resort is enchanting: the island is large and well equipped, offering many facilities such as a gym, diving center, six restaurants and several bars. The international breakfast was excellent and served in two different restaurants. During our stay we dined almost every evening at Umami, the Japanese restaurant: outstanding food thanks to Chef Jester and impeccable service by Reehaan. I highly recommend trying it.

    I stayed in a vila with a pool on the balcony. I could go for snorkelling from my room. There are two coral reefs with lots of marine life for snorkeling We saw Manta Rays and Sharks, during the evening on the dive center - we didnt even need to snorkel everything There was a band in the evening, on a very pleasant bar Food was great with lots of international options (just do not expect pork - it is a muslim country)

    I only stayed overnight in Male and, in general, it was enough. Simply passing though to get my flight home. As expected the city is noisy, busy and hectic. Wow the contrast from the laid-back, easygoing atol where I was based for the holiday. However, I still quite enjoyed it. The guy from the diving company arranged a tour guide for me whose policy was that I pay him what I thought his time was worth. I got to experience the traffic from a scooter (quite scary to begin with) was taken to the market and given lots of free samples of local foods to try and had visits to all the important sites in three brilliant hours. He also introduced me to a wonderful restaurant - The Seagull Cafe- where I visited another twice before leaving the food and the coffee were so good.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

    Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine...

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.

    I absolutely would return!

    I absolutely would return! After the fact I was told this was a Russian resort but we interacted with a variety of guests during our visit. Our neighbors were guests 20 years ago and returned with two children. They were having an absolute ball. I loved the swim up bar at the pool - and the fact it was at the opposite end (along with a divider) from the children's area. Super attentive and friendly staff, great meals, I didn't tire of the options at the buffet. The a la carte restaurant was lovely too. We did the all inclusive and it was definitely worth it. Great chill vibe and overall a fun place to relax and play.

    We LOVED Dhiffushi!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life.

    The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.
