- From US$1,768 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 507 reviewsMy recent stay at Adaaran Prestige Resort was nothing short of a paradisiacal experience. From the moment I stepped onto the pristine grounds of this luxurious haven, I knew I was in for a treat. The resort's impeccable service, diverse culinary offerings, and engaging activities left an indelible mark on my memory. First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Manu, a standout member of the resort's staff. Manu's dedication to ensuring guests' satisfaction went above and beyond expectations. His warm and attentive demeanor made me feel truly valued as a guest. He was always ready to assist with a genuine smile, enhancing the overall hospitality of the resort. The culinary journey at Adaaran Prestige Resort was nothing short of extraordinary. The food options were diverse, catering to a wide range of palates. The Japanese restaurant, in particular, stood out as a culinary gem. The masterfully crafted dishes showcased the artistry of the chefs, delivering an authentic and delightful experience. The blend of flavors, textures, and presentation made each meal a memorable event. One of the highlights of my stay was the resort's extensive array of activities. Whether you're a water sports enthusiast, a fitness buff, or someone seeking relaxation, Adaaran Prestige has something for everyone. From snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters to yoga sessions at sunrise, the activities were well-curated and added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort, from the elegantly designed accommodations to the lush landscaping, contributed to an atmosphere of pure serenity. Adaaran Prestige Resort is a true testament to luxury and excellence. In conclusion, my time at Adaaran Prestige Resort was an enchanting escape that exceeded my expectations.Guest review byAliKuwait
- From US$182.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,594 reviewsWe were fetched by their staff from the jetty port, our luggage was loaded in a small vehicle to be dropped in the hotel which was only a short walk from the port. Ms. Hazel was very welcoming and friendly and would give us some tips on how to go about the island while on our way to the hotel. Upon checking in, we were given welcome drinks and wet towels to freshen up a bit while waiting for our rooms. Ms. Metri, the receptionist was kind and polite, very grateful for her to accommodate our requests and assigned us to our rooms with the best views. There was a basket of fresh fruits in our rooms, Comfy beds, and toiletries were already set in our rooms, wifi was fast, clean facilities, pool was also there (could've been with warm water as it was already windy on the 10th floor that time and it was too cold), hotel was on the beach front, very good location with a lot of shops/restaurants nearby. Mark in the beach bar was very informative and warm, even offered us a walk around. Breakfast was by the beach, we weren't able to fully dig in as we had to head on to our 7:30 am island tour. Wish we could've stayed longer to make the most of our rooms too.Guest review byVon RoeUnited Arab Emirates
- From US$740.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,263 reviewsWe checked in on 2nd April and checked out on 6th April. The first 2 nights were in Grand water villa and the following 2 nights were in deluxe sunset water villas with jacuzzi and I must say that the resort made us feel like spending time in paradise. Everything about the resort was at its best. Starting from the private speed boat transfer, welcome session, gala buffet meals covering exotic cuisines, beautifully maintained islands with sunset bars and infinity pools at the picturesque locations, DJ and live music after dinner hours - everthing keeps me thinking of going back to Sunsiyam ohluveli again for sure. The rooms were more beautiful than the pictures😊, the bathroom, the water villa deck, everything was above our expectations. Truly a great resort. If you have love for marine life, just spend time in the dive centre area. You can see fascinating colourful fishes in the coral area, pod of dolphins swimming nearby, sting rays, turtles and many more during day time. The best part is at night time when you will surely spot Manta Rays 😊😊.Guest review byPALLABIndia
- From US$758.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 73 reviewsWe had a great time at this wonderful resort. It is only some 45 mins by boat from Male. The staff are extremely kind and courteous. The team responsible for sea excursions is very informative and helpful. The restaurant provides a great variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were booked at half board and there were plenty of options to have a snack during the day at very reasonable prices. The room had all the needed amenities and was cleaned twice a day. Each room had its allocated sun beds in an idyllic environment. It takes around 15/20 minutes to walk around the island to see nature at its best. The sea immediately around this island is already beautiful to swim in and snorkel. The excursions to nearby reefs add to the experience of seeing turtles, mantas, harmless nurse sharks and all kinds of colourful fish (some of which can be seen in the vicinity of the hotel) . The island is very welcoming, well kept and very clean. A place to revisit time and time again.Guest review byAlfredMalta
- From US$1,041.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 627 reviewsWe had an amazing time at Velassaru! The hotel is absolutely beautiful — everything from the beaches to the landscape is perfectly maintained. What really stood out to us was the staff: everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Our bungalow was incredible, we stayed in an overwater bungalow with a private pool, and it was just perfect. The view was amazing, especially at sunset, and we loved being able to jump straight into the sea or relax in the pool in total privacy. The coral reef just in front was a great spot for snorkeling! The food was great, and we especially loved the fact that they serve cava at breakfast — such a nice touch!Guest review byFilipaPortugal

The rooms had everything we needed with towels, beach towels and soap etc. We went full board and the food was really good with different lunch/dinner each day. The location is excellent and it is walking distance from everything we needed. The highlight for us were the staff, they couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you so much to the owner Abdul who was amazing our full stay, helping us with excursions and anything we needed. Definitely recommend this property to anyone and we would love to come back at some point!Guest review byJennaUnited Kingdom

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!Guest review byInaNorway - 8.0

It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.Guest review byVladimirSerbia - 10.0

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !Guest review byDarinaSlovakia - 2.0

Please ensure you book inclusive package as food and drink outside of the package will be expensive. Take mosquito repellents and your own shower gel, shampoos and conditioners. This is because the provision of shower items is not good at all. (They might as well say, shower items not provided). If you want clean rooms and showers, do NOT go here.Guest review byNiravUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

Here are a few key highlights: Accommodations: Maafushi offers a variety of guesthouses and budget-friendly hotels, allowing travelers to experience the Maldives without spending on expensive resorts. Activities: Visitors can enjoy snorkeling, diving, fishing, and water sports. Excursions to nearby sandbanks and resorts are also popular. Local Experience: Being a local island, it provides an authentic Maldivian culture experience, unlike private resort islands. Food: There are plenty of restaurants serving delicious local and international cuisine.Guest review byEuphoriaBangladesh - 10.0

Biyadhoo is a perfect place for people who want an amazing Maldives experience at an affordable rate. The food was incredible. We gained so much weight in just 4 days. There was white sand, clean sea chairs to relax on, wildlife, and incredible staff. We also went for a beginners scuba diving experience and the instructor Rosa was beyond kind, patient, and wonderful. We had the best experience ever.Guest review byDebashriIndia
