This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I’ve been to many high end hotels in the states and it measured up beautifully. The hostess was sweet and helpful. The sheets were amazing and the pool was emaculate. I highly recommend this beautiful spot

The place is absolutely stunning, with every amenity you could think of. It was one of our most relaxing and restful vacations to date! Specifically, we appreciated: -round trip car service from/to PV airport -tour of the property early in our stay, so we got to see the 4 beaches and lookout points available for booking -lunches on a beautiful private beach -sunset on a stunning lookout point -workouts at the well equipped gym -room service on our rooftop terrace -dips in the pool before dinner -the staff are fantastic and immediately respond to any requests by WhatsApp -the food is fresh, tasty and healthy - especially loved the omelettes, ceviches, coconut shrimp, soups, juices and fruit plates -with only 18 rooms and not being fully booked, at times it felt like our own personal resort

    Such a great little town.

Such a great little town. We came in the off season so it wasn't too crowded. There are many bars and restaurants that have their own style and personality. The sunsets were amazing and the people were very friendly. It's easy to get around town but I would recommend renting a golf cart or car because of the humidity. We never had a bad meal there, even the pizza from the street vendor was tasty.

We will be staying in San Patricio Melaque for six months from September 29-March 26 2025. We rented a golf cart from Mexicana Anna’s to get around with our two senior dachshunds Limo and Lincoln. It is a beautiful beach town with lots of culture and beauty. The locals are warm and welcoming and there is plenty to see and do as well as many bars and restaurants.

It's a place to relax if there's noone in the hotel and also there's nothing around I like that but the hotel was too dirty all the time staff don't care if you are the only guest, they don't clean the hotel, the pool, the rooms. It was nice as experience but won't go back again

The town is beautiful. The people are not very nice. You find rarely people who acknowledge or say hello. I wish I would’ve known you have to take a 40-50 min boat ride from another town to get here and the boat rides stop after a certain time which make it difficult if you have other activities. Also, there is nobody to show you around town. When you arrive someone who works for the place one is staying at should meet you and show you where to go and help with luggage. None of this happened. Also, I only saw 3 restaurants around the area we were in, and they were all very pricey. The beach was not very clean. There are a lot of rocks in the area. Doesn’t look or feel relaxing.

2 hours from Puerto Vallarta, it requires to have a rental car and to trust the GPS location (20.234198, -105.555821). Ipala and the roads around are still underdeveloped but have great beaches. This place is ideal for relaxing without noice and without traffic.

Barra is a small, friendly and safe beachfront town with many great eating and drinking establishments. You can walk to anywhere in town in under five minutes. Lots of music everywhere. There is a large marina and a nice little surfing spot at the south end of town. My wife and felt like some of the younger tourists and we are in our early 50's. Some of the spots we enjoyed The Malecon at the south end of town. The pastries at El Horno Francès French bakery Beachfront sunsets and Margheritas @ Nachos Paty restaurant for breakfast La Bruja for good coffees Señor froys for dinner. The town square pop up market on Thursdays. This is a great town to relax enjoy the ocean, drinks and people. We walked to Melaque on the beach which took about 45 min to an hour, do this early, it's hot out there. All the birds too!

Melaque is a lovely little beach town, very friendly people and plenty of good restaurants and shops. There is a local bus to go to neighbouring towns. Many ex-pats seem to be in this town, so it's possible to get by without a lot of Spanish, but it's definitely handy to know a little. The beach is great, and not crowded at all. Very walkable town.

A great beach resort, mostly known by the local Mexicans and not by the tourists from "north of the border". The new malecon is nice. Trip to Isla de Cocinas is a good option. Prices in the restaurants, etc were good. People were friendly.

We LOVED our accommodations! Very clean, great location and FABULOUS view!!!! We ran out of water mid trip and called the host. She had fresh water delivered within 5 minutes. We had an amazing time in Yelapa. The food at the restaurants was 5 stars. There was hiking, beach activities, water boat excursions. We will return.
