I had a fantastic stay at Bayou Hotel Langkawi! The location was ideal, just a short 10-minute walk from the beach, and there was a convenient mart right across the street for snacks and essentials. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a generous welcome basket filled with snacks and complimentary drink vouchers—a thoughtful touch that immediately made me feel valued. The availability of water coolers for refills and complimentary popcorn added to the hotel's thoughtful amenities. The staff at Bayou Hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly, providing outstanding service throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which was served until 10:30 am—perfect for late risers like myself who enjoy a leisurely morning. The variety and quality of the breakfast spread were exceptional, ensuring a delightful start to each day. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed, offering a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring Langkawi. Also really loved the design of the hotel, the colour scheme and interior design were amazing.. really aesthetically pleasing Overall, Bayou Hotel Langkawi exceeded my expectations with its excellent location, thoughtful amenities, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Langkawi!

Everything was excellent. Every aspects of our stay was on 4 star level, not 3 stars. Kind and helpful crew, amazing pool with view on the rooftop, breakfast with huge variety, well equipped room, great wifi. Hotel is located next to Grab station, so it is easy to discover the island if you don't want to rent a car. Restaurants, self service laundries, supermarket, drogerie next to the building. So many services in the souroundings, and still it is a quite Hotel with green, tropical view, mountaines. We tried the kitchen for dinners sometimes, and they are cooking delicious. Perfect flavours for european tastes. Big compliment for the chef. Great value for this money. The only thing what we were missing from the room, is a racking for drying our towels and wet swimming suits.

Staff was very friendly and the owner was very hospitable. My kids were using the pool in the evening, the owner came out to light mosquito incense for us as we waited by the poolside. Beds were comfy. There is a common area where you can dine and relax. Also some games to entertain kids.

What a hidden gem! This boutique house really exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing—staff were super kind and helpful. The bathroom was huge, clean, and came stocked with everything from shampoo to snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. I loved the free welcome drink when I arrived, and they even offer free cocktails in the evening.     The very very attentive and friendly staff helped us to have a wonderful stay in this beautiful house we had. Although with the stairs to climb you need to have a good phsycial condition the first house at the right was the best We were impressed by the loving help we received also when there were wifi problems because we had to work . And the veggie restaurant is just unbelievable. My family appreciated veggie very much after these lunches and breakfast new style.

    Average Malaysian town. Not much to do other than a couple museums/art gallery. I'm there to visit family, but would not go out of my way to take a holiday there. Ramadan bazaar was a highlight, though.

    Kuah is just about decent but i would prefer the Cenang Beach area . If you can't get a hotel there, Kuah should be your next choice. The Island is small so you can get around in under 30 minutes to any spot of the island.

    It is a small peaceful town with lots of shops you find in big cities. The food is cheap. The Pasar Tani was interesting. It is situated behind Restoran Berkat. This restaurant consists of a few stalls serving local delicacies. A must come for people not familiar with the local food. There is a more modern township called Amanjaya for the younger ones. But I prefer the area around the famous Clock Tower.

    Small town, not suitable for shoppers. Recommended for those who enjoying eating. Recommended place is Dusun Riffa which can spend time from 9 am - 7 pm with good scenery, clean place and very good food. Also recommended KinKin Restaurant which is cheap but tasty. A few more good foods but can find other places as well. Bundle shops - there are a lot of good stuff to shop with good quality.

    The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Thai Restaurant was amazing - getting to the Sky Cab was just walking distance, that's worth a visit. I did a Mangrove Tour which was pretty good... I went on my own but a group tour might have been just as good.

    Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset.

    Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset. But lots of it is privat and your only allowed to walk along the shore in these parts, which is kinda sad and stupid as you wouldnt disturb anyone by staying there. but the public places are great too so not too much of a let down.

    Its just a great vacation here.. the staff is so friendly and the place was just too great.. i wish they have a lift so that customer can bring up their stuff easily.. overall very satisfied and if have a chance will come again to this beautiful place..

    Most happening area of Langkawi.

    Most happening area of Langkawi. Only beach with sports activities like parasailing, water scooter, boats, kyaking etc. Lots of cafes around and and a big flee market with multiple duty free shops nearby. Above all underwater world is also at 2 mins of drive from pantai cenang beach. Above all vegitarian indian food is also available in few restaurants of pantai cenang market.
