Everything was excellent. Every aspects of our stay was on 4 star level, not 3 stars. Kind and helpful crew, amazing pool with view on the rooftop, breakfast with huge variety, well equipped room, great wifi. Hotel is located next to Grab station, so it is easy to discover the island if you don't want to rent a car. Restaurants, self service laundries, supermarket, drogerie next to the building. So many services in the souroundings, and still it is a quite Hotel with green, tropical view, mountaines. We tried the kitchen for dinners sometimes, and they are cooking delicious. Perfect flavours for european tastes. Big compliment for the chef. Great value for this money. The only thing what we were missing from the room, is a racking for drying our towels and wet swimming suits.

A Tropical Jewel

Langkawi, as known as the jewel of Kedah, is the largest island in an archipelagio of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea. And a gem it certainly is, with lush scenery ranging from rice fields and rainforests to leaning palms on tropical beaches.

Of course, it’s the beaches that draw most visitors. Housing a good number of Langkawi hotels, Patai Cenang has the longest and most developed beach, and good nightlife. Neighbouring Pantai Tengah is more peaceful and a popular choice for families.

Langkawi Airport in the west is closest to Padang Matsirat. Just around the coast is the more secluded Burau Bay. The Telaga Tujuh waterfalls are nearby, and just north of its curving beach is the Langkawi Cable Car which travels into the heart of the rainforest, where the Sky Bridge provides amazing views.

Another sleepy beach is the northern Jalan Datai, home to a crocodile park. To the west Tanjung Rhu has one of the most scenic beaches, with bulbous, offshore islands reminiscent of many an action movie.

On the south of this duty-free island is the capital Kuah, whose most recognisable feature is the large eagle statue overlooking its harbour towards the islands beyond. This town has the largest concentration of apartments, motels and hotels in Langkawi on Booking.com.

    Everything in this hotel was very good. Starting from many facilities they have such as the big pool. I like that the pool is big enough and has different deeps starting from 0.8 m to 2.3 m. Also, there is a Jacuzzi to relax after a long trip day. Furthermore, the beach of the hotel was extremely nice with white and deep sands and crystal water. Also, the garden of the hotel is quite big where you can take a walk there or relax. Now, lets go to the room. The room was very clean and comfort. The bathroom is also big enough with all facilities needed inside. Moreover, I like the size of the room as it fits all of my family members and the fact that there is Balcony with sea view in it. Finally, the breakfast was good as there was good verities of food to select. I really like their croissants as it was very crispy. To sum up, I highly recommend to stay in this hotel if you are visiting Langkawi and would like to stay next to the beach.

    This was our first hotel that we visited in Langkawi. This is a really small luxury family hotel. The hotel is built in a beautiful European style with a courtyard. The room is spacious and very cozy. The staff is responsive, friendly and always ready to help. I would especially like to note the breakfasts with a variety of dishes of Malaysian, Indian, European and Asian cuisine. Also for breakfast you are brought a menu, you can choose a dish from it and it will be cooked and brought to you for free. There is a separate station with tea and coffee where they prepare excellent hot drinks such as Teh tarik. The hotel is small but at the same time people are accommodated by the pool and do not interfere with each other. The room has chic robes of the right size, which is important.

    We loved everything about our stay. In the evening of our arrival we noticed that something under the sink was dripping. We let the staff know and someone came immediately to check it amd they fixed it the next day, at the exact time we decided together. Other pros: - Very nice and welcoming staff - very good breakfast - nice massage services (not included in the standard payment) - buggy transportation everywhere in the resort - nice room with island and beach view - really pleasant pool, with warm and salty water - daily fresh water brought in glass bottles - delicious room service food and examplary overall services

    This resort exceeded all my expectations. I wanted a calming and relaxing retreat, and this place gives me more than that. I love waking up to see the sea and the sound of waves that accompanied me to sleep and waking up is just zen. With breathtaking view daily, i honestly love the peace and quiet that the resort gives. The staffs are very accomodating and super nice and friendly. Every query is assisted and i never felt lost during my stay. Either through phone or text messages - the service is very top notch.     Prime location in kuah, (1.3 km to jetty point), bike car rentals,food joints, departmental stores,parks very close property is spread across a large area, great sea views, 2 pools (one heated other mini water park for kids), hospitality could not be better, they readily allowed early check in at 10 am, missed my jetty on the checkout date at 7am & was allowed reentry until noon (couldn't thank enough). Strongly recommended for a value stay with excellent buffet breakfast

    Kuah is just about decent but i would prefer the Cenang Beach area . If you can't get a hotel there, Kuah should be your next choice. The Island is small so you can get around in under 30 minutes to any spot of the island.

    The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Thai Restaurant was amazing - getting to the Sky Cab was just walking distance, that's worth a visit. I did a Mangrove Tour which was pretty good... I went on my own but a group tour might have been just as good.

    Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset. But lots of it is privat and your only allowed to walk along the shore in these parts, which is kinda sad and stupid as you wouldnt disturb anyone by staying there. but the public places are great too so not too much of a let down.

    Its just a great vacation here.. the staff is so friendly and the place was just too great.. i wish they have a lift so that customer can bring up their stuff easily.. overall very satisfied and if have a chance will come again to this beautiful place..

    The beach was clean, and the sea was calm, most of the time. There were lots of creatures both on the beach and in the water. There were also monkeys , birds, bats, colugos and squirrels, making it a great place to observe and learn about nature

    Most happening area of Langkawi.

    Most happening area of Langkawi. Only beach with sports activities like parasailing, water scooter, boats, kyaking etc. Lots of cafes around and and a big flee market with multiple duty free shops nearby. Above all underwater world is also at 2 mins of drive from pantai cenang beach. Above all vegitarian indian food is also available in few restaurants of pantai cenang market.

    Kuah was nice, the locals were very friendly and we found some restaurants that served great food, however, our accommodation could have been better. There were things in the apartment that did not work and we had a booking for 5 adults but there were only two coffee cups, four chairs. Lock on the balcony door didn't work and neither did the lock on bedroom 1 window. Also, it took a couple of days for the wi-fi to work correctly.

    Malaysia itself is built on tourism use, I didnt like the fact that you have to pay to use bathrooms specially in touristic areas where you will spend already inside as there is food, shops and activities, and also you have to pay for a bathroom and extra for tissue. which made it a struggle if you walk with no money. most of the adventures are not priced you are given a different price and every tourist is given a different price, and the staff claim they dont know if you ask any question that would make them not profit. overall its a very beautiful city, but it is not a place I would go to again.

    Its a sleepy place, not a party zone like pantai cenang. Its a place to connect with nature and rest, just afew food places nearby, all of which are good, lovely spot for sunset watching. Perfect stay at eagle eye, romantic stay with my boyfriend. Very nice place to relax and spend time in nature.
