Awesome and well furnished room. Pleasant rooftop swimming pool to take a refreshing bath after the day. The cherry on top was the bathroom: giant space with both a shower and a bath-tub. We were staying at the 12th floor which is the “concept floor” meaning you have a dedicated room where you can enjoy free drink and food all day long.

    The stay at The Blue Haven hotel was exceptional. The service was outstanding, warm, kind, and always smiling. The apartments were huge, spacious, and clean, with incredibly comfortable beds. The phenomenal location made you feel one with nature, with wonderful, well-maintained trails and a jungle just around the corner. I even managed to encounter a large monitor lizard – an incredible adventure. The breakfasts were very good, with exceptionally good coffee. There was a wide selection, mostly Asian cuisine, but also eggs and freshly made omelets, fruits, and cakes. The pools were beautiful and well-designed. Snack prices were great, and the quality was good. Free parking was available. An important note: the kitchen is accessible only for stays longer than 7 days; for shorter stays, activating the kitchen and its accessories costs 150 RM per day. In summary, thank you to the wonderful team at The Blue Haven for the amazing relaxation I experienced with you. I will remember this stay for a long time!

    Some staff members made a difference and if not for them I would have given a one star rating. The environment was filthy with plastic bottles and rubbish . No wipes or towels in the gym to wipe down after workout. No towels provided in the gym. Water dispenser was not fully functional. Food quality and spread was poor. Breakfast was simply chaotic.

    Teluk Intan is a small quaint town. Just one day is sufficient to cover most of the recommended places for visit. Food is not exactly cheap, comparable to KL prices. All shops selling local produce exactly the same so you visit one is like visiting all.

    Good place to visit for local Chinese Malaysian. here got some Chinese Restaurant famous with local fu zhou dishes (福洲菜). i.e Red wine mee sua. Pangkor Island is also not far from Setiawan. You can drop by to have lunch or dinner here snd buy some famous snacks “ guang ping”（光饼 ）and “pillow bun“.

    It has no big shopping malls or good public parks for sightseeing. But plenty of great restaurants and street foods. Some activities you can do are rollerblading, cinema and bowling. The town was small you can explore the whole area and not get lost. Not many hotels to stay but plenty of decent homestays.

    Lost World was kind of disappointing as we had Escape back...

    Lost World was kind of disappointing as we had Escape back at Penang and compared to it Lost World is kinda for the kids and not able to bring any water in there was a big minus and once you gone into the park you are not able to get out cause you are not able to re-enter, food is also too expensive for a park not even Genting Skyworld is this expensive. For better animal experience : Taiping Zoo but still Tambun is quite better if you just explore locals .

    I traveled to Tg Malim was because of I’ve to attend my classes at UPSI every Friday & Saturday. Town is okay, good foods & good restaurants there. Accommodation quite challenging as only 1 boutique hotel was the Best, unfortunately always fully booked.
