A truly amazing place with high focus on eco-marine life and sustainability initiatives such as avoiding use of plastic bottles etc. Beautiful views from rooms and the terrace and nice comfortable beds. We did the 3 point snorkelling tour, the Best of Perhentian and the full day tour and all 3 activities where really good and well organized and we say so many types of fish, turtles, baby sharks and beautiful nature. And the staff is very service-minded and helpful both in the reception, the restaurants and the activity center and you feel very welcome.

Bubu Villa provided the perfect base for our tropical paradise escape in the Perhentians. The food was so good we came back every lunch and dinner even though other options on the island also looked great. The snorkelling excursions matched the offer from other providers but it was practical to have everything organised for us and billed at checkout, and the guides were friendly and informative. The accommodation was super comfortable, air conditioned and clean. The spa treatments were a lovely bonus! Being part of the family friendly long beach community was great, in order to not feel so isolated and exclusive, and provide access to fire shows, shops, bars and restaurants along the beach, without it ever becoming noisy or rowdy. The entirety of the lovely staff were always friendly, helpful and chatty, making our stay exceptionally great.

Everything was perfect, the rooms are very welcoming and clean, the breakfast/restaurant is amazing and the staff were impeccable. Perfect spot if you’re looking for a relaxed and enjoyable stay without having to worry about anything. Plus, you get a free cocktail every afternoon!

7 brand new huts, opened July / Aug 25. We were one of the first guests and everything is brand new like a show home. Not directly on a beach but only a 3 minute walk in one direction to Coral Bay (chilled beach with great sunsets) or 5 minutes the other way to Long Beach (lively beach with great sunrises). Breakfast wasn’t included in our room rate, but was excellent and great value in the owners restaurant. Staff were lovely too.

Featuring a private beach, Samudra Beach Chalet offers accommodations in Perhentian Island. Guests can enjoy meals at the in-house restaurant. The correction is Wifi only at the restaurant.

Place is beachfront even if our cottage was slightly in the back garden. Owner is very friendly and helpful and also nice was the staff. Place is very clean. Small shop next door. Very good laundry service , they wash by hand but you get your clothes back impeccably clean.We got the family cottage in the garden because we were two adults and one kid. If we were two we would have chosen beachfront
