She helped us with our laundry, gave restaurant tips, asked one of her employees to chop our braai wood into smaller pieces when we asked and even gave us some home-made soup to take with us when we checked out. There's a small shop with local products, breakfast was excellent and the room was spacious and very tidy. About a 10-minute walk from the city centre but it's safe. Highly recommended!

ZimbabweThe property is very very clean , exactly as the pictures- we stayed in a family suite- it was very spacious, the bedroom is big , the bathroom is huge! - with both shower and tub. The room was well equipped with a nespresso machine - tea and instant coffee - secure parking in the basement is available- very very safe area - we loved it - Excellent property! Tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very very good , lots of options to chose from- the restaurant is very clean- spacious and airy- the staff is very friendly and welcoming- very professional- they go the extra mile- they booked us with Johanne The Ranger for our Sandwich harbour tour - he was excellent- . absolutely loved it!!!

We loved our cabin at Stiltz - it was roomy, built with natural materials, very nicely decorated and super comfy. The walkways of the lodge gave great views over the ocean and we saw various birds and even camels. The staff was super friendly and kind, the shower was great and the beds were really comfortable. Definitely recommend!

We could not have wished for a better stay. The property is set in beautiful gardens and the tranquility is a real tonic. Our self catering unit was well equipped and spotless. What made our stay however was the first class customer service. The staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

In all my travelling experience, I have never met such a fantastic staff team, management, and owner. The hospitality and attention to detail is out of this world. As a solo female traveller, they made my whole experience fantastic aswell as feeling safe. Highly recommend 👌 work ethics is on point.

A pleasant and comfortable stay with very helpful staff. I also appreciated the collaboration with Go2 transfers, which made traveling around Namibia so easy. Many thanks as well for helping me with the items I accidentally left in the room!

Cleanest town, friendly and helpful people. What i loved the most is in all my travels I was yet to meet any black person that looked like me (Zimbabwean) all other nationalities I cd always tell that there was something different from how I looked, then finally I get to see Namibians and I was elated realizing that finally there is a nationality that looks just like me, felt so at home because of that. Anyway, back to what's important. Namibia should be on everyone's bucket list. God outdid Himself here, He showed how majestic He is. To think He created all this without a blueprint, simply amazing. Namibia is gorgeous, marvelous, amazing...no words can describe it, no pictures can do this country justice, you just have to visit to experience it. Food is amazing and their portions are crazy, we never cd finish a meal though enjoying every bite. Loved Napolitana right close to Prost Hotel. Activities...dont leave without experiencing the Sandwich Harbour. Initially wanted to hire a vehicle but realised there was no need as all activities included free pick up from hotel. Got to explore the town on foot, which was good exercise...not that I needed it that much as tjooo walking on the dunes was a tough work out on its own

Locals are very friendly and helpful.
Always carry a few hard cash incase u cannot swipe.
Always ask for an invoice.
CARRY YOUR BORDER PASS AT ALL TIMES INCASE YOU'RE STOPPED BY THE LOCAL TRAFFIC POLICE.
I MUST SAY, U WONT REGRET ANY BIT HAVING TO VISIT SWAKOP AND WALVIS.
EXPECT SOME INTERNAL ROADS TO BE OF THE BEST SMOOTH GRAVEL, WITH NO ISSUES.
HAVE FUN AND MAKE IT WORTHWHILE.
Activities: One can google but there is a variety depending on what you like.

Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. I visited Swakopmund 20 years ago and the only issue I found worrysome this time around was the many hustlers trying to force their offerings for sale. The jetty also needs some urgent maintenance.
