Unforgettable experience for our whole family. The rooms were cozy and very well maintained with care. Food made from local ingredients was amazingly delicious (never skip their dinner offer!). This century home has a wonderful, warm atmosphere and country honesty that settles over you during your stay. It all flows from our host, Hege Kirsten, whose warm personality and intelligence makes Overvoll Farm unique. The dinner she served was a gastronomical extravaganza! For me it was the best meal I had during our 2 week visit to Norway. All the salads and relishes were prepared with farm fresh ingredients and to my surprise, were raw. The salmon entre' was cooked perfectly. Hege Kirsten is a very accomplished cook and has put care, thought and research into her meals. We also enjoyed excellent conversation on a range of topics.

Absolutely first class, fantastic experience beautiful hotel made even better by the attention to detail in the rooms and the amazing staff, oh of course the location speaks for itself wow wow wow plus the breakfast and dinner was excellent. I have to also say the website pictures do not give this hotel justice. Special mention to Agnes for all your help, excellent service and tips and advice for where my daughter and I could visit.
