Bergen was an amazing place with beautiful nature, warm people, great atmosphere, and plenty of attractions—I would definitely come back. We took a boat trip too Flam one way and Flam train on the way back. It was an amazing experience. Voss is very easy to reach by train or bus, and it's very well connected. There's a cable car to whisk you up the mountain, and from there there are walking paths over the fells, and to ski lifts. There's also plenty of nice places to walk in the town and buses to take you to more remote places to walk. The town has some nice places to eat and drink, but it isn't overly touristy. It's an excellent base for visiting Sognefjord and Flåm -- I did a nice circuit on train, ferry and bus and packed a huge amount of gorgeous landscapes into a day.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Vickinghaug is set amongst incredible Norwegian fjord scenary. It has the other point of interest in that there is a, no longer functioning in its original capacity , factory in the middle of the Fjord. Because it poses no environmental problems any longer. This factory gives the Fjord an interesting historical relevance. The proprietors are obviously always improving the function of the accomodation to suit lots of different styles of travellers. We stayed in a three bedroom, self catering apartment with views on both sides. We had a drink in the evening looking over the lake and the waterfall and dinner at night looking over the Fjord. The walks in the area are popular because they are so full of natural beauty and thus attract many hikers and campers . Eidfjord is a really beautiful city. We enjoyed every moment there with those landscapes. Mountains, river and sandbeach will give you more relaxiation. Røldal is a small and a beautiful town.
Røldal is a small and a beautiful town. Nice walk in the nature also the views are fantastic. We did not explore the local food there because we are vegetarian. But tried coffee and Bakari. It was nice. You can see some good waterfall and steep mountains around the town and good water bodies. We did not swim but I think there are some places you can go swimming also saw some people kayaking. Folgefonna glacier is approximately one and half hour drive from the town. The Ulvik cideries were fantastic.
The Ulvik cideries were fantastic. Walking, biking, and jogging around the town and the surrounding area was so fantastic. One of the farms has an Excellent bakery that is open on Friday afternoon (only for a few hours that one day). Kayaking in the fjord was incredible. Exploring the surrounding areas and waterfalls was simply amazing. Great hikes all around. The town has limited options for groceries and places to eat out, but nevertheless provides everything needed. What a beautiful and incredibly interesting city! Bergen has so much to offer with lots of amazing museums that we just didn't have time to visit or explore. There are also many restaurants that we would have liked to try and a trip during the day up the Floibanen would also have been nice. The accommodation was spacious, new, modern and well-equipped. It is a series of separate apartments on the first, second and third floors. Access is from a door on the street and it is not possible to unload a car from in front of the building. You have to park in another location but there is plenty of free parking available nearby. To get up to the apartments there is only a narrow stairway.
