- From $221.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 718 reviewsWe stayed one night. The car park is free, check in was quick and the staff was very friendly and nice. The room we got was overlooking the fjord. It was nice size and the bed was very comfortable. We also had a little balcony. The shower had good pressure and hot water quickly. They have a restaurant on site serving food all day, we had breakfast (included) and dinner (paid) and both were very good. There is some renovation going on to improve the place and it did not bother us at all. Would stay again any time, it was awesome!Guest review byEdwardUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 70 reviewsMy husband and I found the Walaker (and the village of Solvorn) to be a really special place. We had perfect weather for swimming at the beach, hiking up Molden for fjord views, and enjoying a glass of champagne in the hotel garden. Staff and food were excellent. The historic room had tons of charm. We only stayed one night but I could see spending a week to enjoy daily hikes, afternoon swims, and relaxing with a good book -- it's such a lovely, restful place!Guest review byElizabethUnited States
- From $213.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,107 reviewsLoved the location as its just beside the train station, and the monrail to the airport was around the corner, these facilitated our in and out of Bergen. The hotel was just a 8 mins walk to the main shopping area and 15mins to the marina area and it was lovely walk. The breakfast was fantastic with the spread, and set in a Victorian theme dining hall. The room was small but clean and adequate for both us.Guest review bytammySingapore
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 141 reviewsAmazing place in amazing location! Really unusual with "ski lodge" feel. Modern rooms with spartan, Scandinavian feel. Really cool lobby area where many guests sitting, reading, texting, having a beer or glass of wine. Great hiking nearby and stunning scenery. Excellent restaurant. Really enjoyed my stay.Guest review byMarkUnited States

Bergen was an amazing place with beautiful nature, warm people, great atmosphere, and plenty of attractions—I would definitely come back. We took a boat trip too Flam one way and Flam train on the way back. It was an amazing experience. Unfortunatley we could not visit to many museums as they were closed on Monday.Guest review byDorotaIreland - 10.0

A quiet village nestled at the head of a beautiful fiord with towering mountains all around. Excellent facilities including a bakery, grocery store, Mall of Norway and several restaurants, plus fast food outlets. Mini cruises available to nearby attractions, kayaks for hire and lakeside saunas. The most notable attraction is the world famous Flam Railway which climbs to almost 3000 feet a.s.l. up to Myrdal, where it connects to the Oslo to Bergen line.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Aurland is a quiet town with a well-stocked grocery and an excellent bakery. It is not a port of call for the huge Sognefjord cruise ships, so it is not overrun by tourists multiple times a day. By car, the town is 20 minutes from Flåm, 35 minutes from Lærdal via the Lærdalstunnelen (the world's longest road tunnel, at almost 25km), and 2.5 hours from Bergen. A refueling station is located just south of town, off the E-16 roundabout. It offers reasonable prices for electric vehicle charging and petrol/diesel fuel. And, it serves the best homemade soup in the area!Guest review byWilliam JenkinsUnited States - 8.0

Voss is very easy to reach by train or bus, and it's very well connected. There's a cable car to whisk you up the mountain, and from there there are walking paths over the fells, and to ski lifts. There's also plenty of nice places to walk in the town and buses to take you to more remote places to walk. The town has some nice places to eat and drink, but it isn't overly touristy. It's an excellent base for visiting Sognefjord and Flåm -- I did a nice circuit on train, ferry and bus and packed a huge amount of gorgeous landscapes into a day.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Vickinghaug is set amongst incredible Norwegian fjord scenary. It has the other point of interest in that there is a, no longer functioning in its original capacity , factory in the middle of the Fjord. Because it poses no environmental problems any longer. This factory gives the Fjord an interesting historical relevance. The proprietors are obviously always improving the function of the accomodation to suit lots of different styles of travellers. We stayed in a three bedroom, self catering apartment with views on both sides. We had a drink in the evening looking over the lake and the waterfall and dinner at night looking over the Fjord. The walks in the area are popular because they are so full of natural beauty and thus attract many hikers and campers . The town felt slightly off piste from the over used tourist pathways which suited us perfectly.Guest review byRosemary SusanAustralia - 10.0

I visited Sogndal as a starting point to travel to Urnes Stave Church. The little town was a welcome change from the busy life of the big city such as Bergen. The weather was cloudy and rainy, but a walk on Fjordstien was a lovely pastime.Guest review byV.AtanasovaBulgaria - 10.0

Eidfjord is a really beautiful city.
Eidfjord is a really beautiful city. We enjoyed every moment there with those landscapes. Mountains, river and sandbeach will give you more relaxiation. You will have everything that will need for your stay. There is a small supermarket as well though we didn't think about the price ;-)Guest review bySandunSri Lanka - 10.0
What a beautiful and incredibly interesting city!
What a beautiful and incredibly interesting city! Bergen has so much to offer with lots of amazing museums that we just didn't have time to visit or explore. There are also many restaurants that we would have liked to try and a trip during the day up the Floibanen would also have been nice. What a great excuse for a return visit to this lovely city!Guest review byShaun and JaneneAustralia
