beautiful designed room even had a beautiful balcony overlooking snowy mountain peaks and Gondola. loved it generous rooms with beautiful furnishings. small luxury hotel of the world. amazing breakfast even that was exquisite with fresh compote fruits and yogurts fresh breads jams and croissants daily. coffee drinks and juices downstairs daily free happy hour. “this hotel” do yourself a favour and stay here. right next to Queenstown Botanical gardens, easy stroll down through gardens and down to the waterfront bars and bistros. hardly need a car. we managed to get an on site park every time. the staff are gracious and kind can’t do enough for you. beautiful hotel great find. we stayed at the Hilton also and it’s the next best thing. love love love. oh our suite had a balcony and jet / spa bath.

    The room was a great size, perfect for the 6 of us. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, space to eat and relax. Fully equipped kitchen. The location of the lofts couldn’t have been better for eating out, getting the ski bus, it’s right in the middle of Queenstown. Handy having a washer dryer too. Staff were always friendly and accommodating. Clean towels daily. Room looked a lot better in person than in the pictures! Great view from the fifth floor. The lofts deserves a better rating!

    The view and very spacious appartments, washing machine saved us (we were on holiday for 1.5 weeks and some clean clothes were due!)     City is nestled inside crown mountain and other mountainous ranges. Amazing views from the city . Lots of attractions for everyone - kids, teens and adults . Only downside is expensive to stay long and most activities have high cost. Skyline gondola with luge rides and Deer park heights were the best attractions. We enjoyed driving to Glenorchy as well with many stunning locations to stop by and take beautiful photographs. You get all types of quisine - Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Korean , Indian

    This is a great base for hiking Aspiring National Park. It is worth hunting out the less popular tracks such as Juday Track and Sugarloaf Pass as wellas the popular multi-day hikes: Greenstone, Caples, Routeburn and Rees- Dart, all of which are great but busy.

    It was close to the lake but about a 15 minute drive into Queenstown city centre so not really ideal if you plan on hitting the clubs constantly. You definitely need a car, it’s about $45 one way for an Uber. It was brilliant for taking nice like walks along the lake and chilling, reading etc.

All are stunning activities to do. While the weather forecast was dull at the time of my booking the trip in march, the actual weather was fantastic during our stay in the first week of October.     Glenorchy is out of this world. Stunning. The road trip there is overwhelming and there are so many fabulous hikes. The wee village has a great hotel with really nice food and vegetarian friendly, same with Mrs Woolly's General Store and good coffee.

    Small town. Great general store. Cafe kitchens dont open till 12 so its just coffee n cabinet food till then. Epic views and good walks to do. Ate at Mr Glen's Taphouse - great coffee and cabinet food. Recommend walk around boardwalk and lagoon. Need a 4WD if going to Paradise - river crossings.
