- From $2,242.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 52 reviewswe had been traveling for some weeks when we reached eichardts, so having laundry facilities in our apartment suite were an unexpected bonus. The nice kitchen also gave us the ability to cook some food items which we like without going out to a restaurant. The locaction of eichardts at the waterfront promenade was beautiful and got us close to all the local bars and tours. We were served a liesurly but excellent free breakfast in the eichardts bar. Great and helpful hotel staff. Queenstown on the wharf is so beautiful, dont go to the uphill accomodationsGuest review byJohnUnited States

The night life in Restaurants & Bistros is amazing with an enormous range of tastes & styles. Staff , whatever nationality are helpful & fun. Sadly the daytime sights are less so as the traditional part of the city is being overwhelmed with glass & steel black box constructions , typical of "modern" soulless architecture. Clean & tidy but meaningless. The Botanic gardens are always worth a visit even though we were slightly ahead of the roses in bloom.Guest review byPaulNew Zealand - 10

Whatever you want to do you can do in Queenstown. High adrenaline sports and activities on the water, land or in the air, wineries, shopping, dining, walking through nature. Bars, nightlife, markets, food stalls, history. Or just plain relaxing. Its a great place to go.Guest review byangelaAustralia - 4.0

I have been Late Tekapo 3 times, it is more expensive than it was. My recommendation is, stargazing is the only reason to make you stay in Lake Tekapo. Otherwise you could find a better and less expensive accomodation nearby.Guest review byAnonymousAustralia - 10

Very Pretty, lots of places to have a coffee or drinks, enjoyed a drink on the waterfront looking at a amazing view, also scenic drive to Lake Hawea and went as far as the lookout when the road takes you to top of Lake Wanaka.Would of loved to had more time to do some short walks.Guest review byLynleyAustralia - 10

October. We stayed at Te Anau 2 nights. It's a great little town ,very pretty with tulips and rhododendrons flowering. Middle day we drove to Milford Sound and back . This definitely is a 2hr drive each way . Would be more in busy times due to traffic or if very wet. If you don't travel to Fjordlands region you are missing a lot! After checkout we then drove to Manapouri 15 mins away-this is the departure point- as we had an overnight stay booked on The Navigator in Doubtful Sound - Definitely recommend this.Guest review byAnne-MareeAustralia - 8.0

Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 8.0

The welcome from Victoria was excellent and the information she supplied was very helpful, we stayed in the different pools a total of six hours until they closed at 7pm, The day was overcast with intervals of sunshine, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and some thing to wrap around you if wind is blowing, excellent place to visit for us oldies or if you have kids of all ages,Guest review byDavidson - 10

Didn’t do much in Twizel itself as it was for us just a stopover on a long roadie, and we had been in the area before. But there is heaps to do and see within a short drive. We had our own food with us so didn’t eat out. The camp kitchen was great.Guest review byPaulNew Zealand
