- From $93.26 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 885 reviewsPerfect location in the city! The reception employee (or owner) was very kind, gave me a tour of the room and drink in the mini fridge :) The room have everything you need and the price is legit. I was there for visiting the Hobbiton and I think it was the perfect place to stay for that!!Guest review byIsaacCanada

Everything was well thought out - the shower had brilliant water pressure! Super comfortable. And I had the best night’s sleep. Can’t recommend it enoughGuest review byJessicaNew Zealand

Cambridge is the most well laid out town centre, with easy free parking, respectful drivers of pedestrians on crossings. It has a great variety of cafes, restaurants and shopping for all ages. My number one town to visitGuest review byTrudiNew Zealand - 10.0
A great place to base yourself to explore the Waikato.
A great place to base yourself to explore the Waikato. Close to Mt Pirongia, Sanctuary Mountain, Lake Karapiro, Lake Arapuni, Waitomo Caves. And not too far away are Hobbiton, Blue Spring, Hamilton Gardens (which are mind blowing). Rose Gardens and Walk of Fame are just by the Information Centre, along with a fantastic children playground, one of the best I've seen anywhere. Great little op shops too if you enjoy a browse.Guest review byStephanieNZ1New Zealand - 10.0
We enjoyed our stay at Kauri Lodge.
We enjoyed our stay at Kauri Lodge. Clean and tidy with every amenity we needed and nice and quiet. Easily sleep a big family. Shona was a great host, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to othersGuest review byWayneNew Zealand - 6.0

It was a nice rural setting, however it was a bit too far from shops and cafes. The property was unclean and facilities were poor. The hosts were pleasant and helpful. We stayed for one night and that was enough.Guest review bykerrypeal@mail.comNew Zealand - 6.0

This is out in the country, 8 ks from Ohaupo and 13 ks from Cambridge. We stay in this area as it is close to a rest home in Ohaupo where my wife's brother is in care. The name of Kaipaki would be unknown to most travelers in NZGuest review byMurrayNew Zealand - 10.0
Cambridge is a beautiful town.
Cambridge is a beautiful town. Growing larger but retains its lovely main street with good angle parking and a roomy pull out lane. Love the many shops and good places to eat. Many side streets to explore and the lake is a beautiful place for a walk.Guest review byStoddard - 10.0
We visited for a private family function.
We visited for a private family function. So didn't have much time for sightseeing. The Thai restaurant Lemon Grass we had dinner at on the evening of our arrival was very good. The town very easy to drive around and find supermarkets. We didn't really have time to do anything else Our accommodation the Black Horse Inn was excellent and would definitely stay again.Guest review byJamesNew Zealand - 10.0

A great stopover point if travelling long distances in the north island. We usually stay in Hamilton, but Karapiro has beautiful scenery, peace and serenity and just a short drive from Cambridge for restaurants, shops and petrol.Guest review byPatriciaJoyNew Zealand - 10.0

What a beautiful place to stay...totally recommend this ... the room was just beautiful...like a luxury hotel. The bed was amazing...best nights sleep in a hotel ever! Lovely homemade shortbread to go with our coffee. Plenty of parking. We drove to the Propeller Restaurant and Bar at the Hamilton Airport for a meal....not far and was well worth it...beautiful meal and service. Breakfast was awesome and hosts just lovely. Would definitely come back one day.Guest review byLindaNew Zealand - 6.0

Some young people on the street at night (young white males ) whose attitude towards me was rather mocking of an older person. This was about 10.45 at night. I come from Auckland. Cambridge is not a place I would feel safe walking the streets at night. Visitors beware. I don't feel like this when walking the streets at night in Auckland at that time. The town hall is beautifulGuest review byIanNew Zealand
