This place is brand spanking new and super clean. They've got some great tea and coffee options for when you need a break. It's really handy - everything you might need is just a stone's throw away. But the best part? You can take a nice stroll down to the lake. It's pretty sweet! And don't forget friendly staffs!!

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival which set the whole tone. The accommodation was very well appointed and comfortable and the breakfast supplies were very generous. Used the pool which was very refreshing after a long drive. Great recommendations of things to do in the area.

ALD would be the cleanest holiday accommodation we have ever stayed at. Friendly hosts, but not intrusive. Breakfast was fabulous, with a great selection of spreads and cereals. Loved the bowl of fruit. Quiet and private.

Our stay at Above the River was delightful. Tracey was very friendly and welcoming; the appartment was beautifully decorated, the beds were divinely comfortable, with the highest quality linen. The breakfast included a delicious selection of cereals, as well as coffees and teas, toast, yoghurt and fruit. The homemade treats were a lovely touch and evening snacks were much appreciated after a long day. The outside furniture was very comfortable, perfectly placed to enjoy a relaxing Spring evening.

Megan & Shane were exceptional hosts. Goldfish/koi pond with running waterfall style fountain provided relaxing view from patio. We were able to enjoy the hot tub as well. Megan provided wonderful breakfasts that included home-baked breads, muffins, & homegrown honey from their own bee hives, plus fresh fruits, yogurts, & cereals. Megan provided valuable information on local shops, restaurants, and navigating the area. An unexpected added pleasure was the occasional welcome visit/greeting from owners sweet pet dog, Lola making a morning appearance on patio. Location was excellent as we were within walking distance of Lake Karapiro venue for IBCPC Dragon Boat Festival we were participating in. We highly recommend a stay at Conach house.

Perfect location in the city! The reception employee (or owner) was very kind, gave me a tour of the room and drink in the mini fridge :) The room have everything you need and the price is legit. I was there for visiting the Hobbiton and I think it was the perfect place to stay for that!!

The location was perfect - very close to the centre of town but far enough away to be quiet. Everything was well thought out - the shower had brilliant water pressure! Super comfortable. And I had the best night’s sleep. Can’t recommend it enough

We didn't have breakfast there. Very noisy with lots of trucks for most of the night. I do prefer running water in the kitchen and not have to fill the kettle in the bathroom basin.

A great place to base yourself to explore the Waikato. Close to Mt Pirongia, Sanctuary Mountain, Lake Karapiro, Lake Arapuni, Waitomo Caves. And not too far away are Hobbiton, Blue Spring, Hamilton Gardens (which are mind blowing). Rose Gardens and Walk of Fame are just by the Information Centre, along with a fantastic children playground, one of the best I've seen anywhere. Great little op shops too if you enjoy a browse.

It was a nice rural setting, however it was a bit too far from shops and cafes. The property was unclean and facilities were poor. The hosts were pleasant and helpful. We stayed for one night and that was enough.

This is out in the country, 8 ks from Ohaupo and 13 ks from Cambridge. We stay in this area as it is close to a rest home in Ohaupo where my wife's brother is in care. The name of Kaipaki would be unknown to most travelers in NZ

Cambridge is a beautiful town. Growing larger but retains its lovely main street with good angle parking and a roomy pull out lane. Love the many shops and good places to eat. Many side streets to explore and the lake is a beautiful place for a walk.

We visited for a private family function. So didn't have much time for sightseeing. The Thai restaurant Lemon Grass we had dinner at on the evening of our arrival was very good. The town very easy to drive around and find supermarkets. We didn't really have time to do anything else Our accommodation the Black Horse Inn was excellent and would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful place to stay...totally recommend this ... the room was just beautiful...like a luxury hotel. The bed was amazing...best nights sleep in a hotel ever! Lovely homemade shortbread to go with our coffee. Plenty of parking. We drove to the Propeller Restaurant and Bar at the Hamilton Airport for a meal....not far and was well worth it...beautiful meal and service. Breakfast was awesome and hosts just lovely. Would definitely come back one day.

Some young people on the street at night (young white males ) whose attitude towards me was rather mocking of an older person. This was about 10.45 at night. I come from Auckland. Cambridge is not a place I would feel safe walking the streets at night. Visitors beware. I don't feel like this when walking the streets at night in Auckland at that time. The town hall is beautiful
