Very nice camp out in the desert. With the explanation of the owner it is very easy to find, the drive with a 4wd car was no problem. the camp itself is small and that makes it super awesome. we liked to stay in a smaller camp. Dinner was very very good, we asked for one vegetarian option and it was super delicious. we had a long talk under the stairs with the manager of the camp and this was amazing. absolutely recommend the camp.

Great camp accommodation in the middle of the dessert. We did a dune bashing/sunset tour who then dropped us to the camp. We were greeted by the staff with some coffee/tea. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dinner was really good, breakfast was also pretty good. They made a small bonfire to relax and enjoy the night under the stars. Bonus: the staff brought some toys for our 1yr daughter which was really nice.

Excellent location, on the top of a dune in the middle of the desert. Fantastic 360 degree view. 15 rooms, outside pool very nice, very good half board plan. Rooms are excellent equipped, with terrace overlooking the desert (the fact that you do not have TV it is rather an advantage). WiFi works very well. The manager (Mr Gautam Balram) is very friendly and helpful. From the activities, we would recommend "night safari and star watching" (ask for Faisal as your guide). Difficult to get there with your own car (do not attempt if you do not have a real 4 motion car and you are not an experienced driver). Aim for the sister camp (Arabian Oryx Camp), and ask the reception there to guide you for the last km, since google maps are not accurate. Parking is free. We would recommend to spend at least two nights there. One night it is not enough.

My partner ane I stayed one night at Thousand Stars Camp and had an amazing time. A big thank you to Ali for his warm hospitality and passion for the camp. The location is incredibly peaceful—tucked deep in the desert with almost no one around. Ali personally arranged our transfers, picking us up in Nizwa and helping us get back to Muscat. We were welcomed with traditional Omani drinks and snacks, which made us feel right at home. The dinner was absolutely delicious—one of the best meals of our trip in Oman. The camp has a stargazing corner perfect for enjoying the night sky, and we highly recommend the sunrise camel ride. The views were breathtaking, and the caretaker kindly took great photos for us. This was a truly authentic and unforgettable desert experience. Highly recommended!

This is a great camp especially if you want a quiet location and small camp with few guests so you feel you are really in the dessert. Best of all was for sure the owner Said. He is a fantastic man, so kind, funn and helpfull. We had great conversations and funn with him. Can highly recommend staying in his camp.

An authentic camp in the desert. The rooms were very comfortable, cosy and authentically decorated, with a private bathroom. The staff was very nice and helpful and smiling. Food was plentiful and excellent, and our preference for vegetarian meals was honored. The camp was very quiet, and is powered with solar panels. Thank you for this beautiful And memorable stay !
