Great place to visit.
Great place to visit. Not to many foreigners, mostly Peruvians from different departments. I stayed 4 completely days. If you go, choose any local tours from the plaza. Do not booked from a private travel agency as the will charged twice as much as the local tour places at the plaza. I had two tours per day 9:30-2:00 and the 3:30-6:30. Cumbemayo and ventanillas de Otuzco were my favorite places to see along with the city tour and the hacienda Porcon this last one I recommend to skip the mini zoo and take the horses to the upper valley to see the waterfall. Tried spendings more time, if possible to see the rainbow trout’s reservoir and eating lunch there. Best prices to buy local cheese and dulce de leche. On your last day, go to the thermal baths and request the new baths, about s/15 soles. Great places to relax and unwind. It had just reopened due to a closing on account of COVID 19. The staff was very friendly and by the time we left they were calling us by our first names. I once forgot an article behind after using the baths and they safe guarded it until I returned.Guest review byAnaPeru
