Staff: They were very nice and helpful. They were responsive to all our questions about activities and other information before our arrival. When we got there, we felt welcome and being supported. It felt that everyone tried their best to make our stay comfortable. Carlos at the reception was kind and considerate. Richard at the bar was nice and supportive. Staff at the tour desk were also very patient and supportive.
Tour: We LOVE our guide Manuel who took us to the night walk and Sandoval lake tour. He was dedicated to help us find as many wild animals as he could. A very reliable and supportive man. We felt that he sincerely cared about the tour and the forest! It was impressive and heart-warming. The hotel offers a variety of tours, worth of exploring :)
Food: LOVE the restaurant. food was delicious and well prepared!
Hightly recommend Hotel Enai to everyone that visits Puerto Maldonado! Wish we could go back some day in the future.

NetherlandsVery nice place to stay. The airco was so nice because of the humidity and warmth. Room was very clean. The shower was hot and nice. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. We had a problem with the shower and they handeld and solved the problem for us so good. Highly recommend this place.

NetherlandsAmazing location in the jungle. We really enjoyed our activities and the guides were all really knowledgeable and well prepared and made our experiences unique. Overall, we liked the food (some meals better than others) because we got to try several different typical Amazonian dishes and we appreciated the high quality and freshness of the ingredients, including different kinds of fresh juice every day. We also appreciated the free water refills and coffee always available.
Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable (we got lucky and never had a single mosquito/bug in our room).
The staff is friendly and very attentive to any needs, from the airport pick up and drop off, to any requests during the stay.
Totally recommended - I guess that less positive reviews are due to the fact that some inconveniences (eg., no hot water, bugs, dark at night etc) are just part of being in the jungle itself and perhaps not everybody's cup of tea, but for us it wasn't a problem as we wanted to have a real experience of this kind.

A great city with a relaxed atmosphere, the people here are very friendly and helpful. Loads of options for eating and drinking at very cheap prices. Street food is definitely worth a try as are the tiny street corner bars for empanadas and a glass of some kind of juice. Try Flama Central on Av Cusco for great grilled meats. Hamburgo for a burger. Any of the bars for big bottles of Cusqena beer, pilsner, trigo, dorada or negra, they’re all great. Head to the ferry port and talk to the family running the bar there about a river trip with Edu, one of the sons who is a guide. After dusk you might get to see Owl monkeys a little further along the river bank. Again, ask Edu It’s easy to walk the grid system but you can always flag down a moto if you’re feeling weary. Shintuyu Hot Springs has beautifully local engineered pool landscaped in natural environment, where I was able to watch monkeys eating in nearby trees, a humming bird extract nectar from bright red flowers next to the pool, beautiful butterflies of various colours flutter by. I visited waterfalls - one of which is the most impressive in my recent memory. The staff is by far the greatest asset of Gree Diamond Lodge. They are exceptional. The beds could be improved. In my opinion the single best improvement they could make is finding a way to provide fans in the rooms, possibly powered by solar.
