Josefina's is a Happy place, run by members of the same extended family, so it has a Very comfortable vibe. It's 1 block above Main Street, in a really quiet and perfect location, in the center of town. We kept extending our stay we liked it so much. Go snorkeling at Siete Pecados Marine Park, it's world class, right next to town.

Reception staff were extremely helpful: from lending me their phone to make phone calls, storage of luggage prior to my check in, to checkin in, room service, organizing my in-room massage service and organizing the shuttle on my departure day; everything was smooth! Room was very clean and tidy. Woukd be nice if they have added a pair of slippers.

We were very impressed with our stay at Charms hotel. The staff was super helpful/friendly. The rooms were extremely clean and comfy with lots of room. The pool was nice and clean and we had it to ourselves for most of the time. It is very close to the city (we opted to take a tricycle ride into town which was only about 5min long). You can catch the tricycle outside of the hotel. Close to town but away from all the noise! I'd highly recommend dinners at Pacifico in downtown Coron!

-great staff, super friendly and helpful -good location, walking distance to the main street with all the restaurants, coffee shops, bars. -they help to book all the tours, cheaper then other places -nice airport pick up -perfect AC, not too strong but it keeps the room cool enough -huge king size bed, the bedsheets smelled nice -friendly neighbors, all the locals were extremely nice every time I would pass by the street going to the restaurants.

    This was hands down the most beautiful and amazing location I have stayed at. Sangat island is a divine location. We got lucky to be there in the low season and for a while had the island entirely to ourselves while still having great sunny clear weather. Quite a unique and amazing experience. I can’t express how relaxed and relieved I felt the 2 and a half days I spent at the island. The water is amazing, you can snorkel, dive, swim, kayak. I played basketball with the staff which was quite fun. Everyone that worked there was super cool, chill and friendly. Special shout out to Esther who did a great job taking care of us, and who became a friend. I also want to give a special shout out to Tom the diving instructor. It was one of my favourite experiences to go Scuba diving. We were slightly reticent at first but it was great to leave the comfort zone and what a blessing. This is the best resort you can go to for Scuba diving. On our first dive we had the opportunity to go to a WWII destroyer wreck. I will remember this first dive for the rest of my life and will probably do many more because of it. Tom was an excellent instructor that made me feel at ease while still pushing me to do better. I also consider him a friend after that. Highly recommend. Please do the diving if you visit Sangat, it would be a real waste not to (there are several more cool wrecks to dive).

    Amazing stay at the Corto Del Mar Hotel. The bedroom was very spacious and super clean, the hotel overall is very nice, with a very calm vibe, but still located perfectly in the center of Coron, which makes it really easy for exploring the islands. The staff and service was beyond expectations, they went above and beyond to help me when I forgot a bag at the hotel, managed to bring it to the airport in time before my flight. Special thanks to Elijah and Rodel for this emergency operation, they handled quickly and were super reactive ! Forever grateful 🙏🙏🙏

    The service was definitely exceptional! Would definitely come back and book with the same resort. Calling for tricycles and shuttle service was convenient. Moreso, for the tours if booked with the resort since they provide you with the towels as well. Our room was upgraded and it was such a perfect view of the entire hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well and was very much worth the price! I really enjoyed my stay here. Will surely recommend this place to others.

As I was badly sunburnt to my legs and could only walked painfully, the ladies at the reception sent someone to the drugstore for me.     The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.

    If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...

    If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

    Rooms are spacious, big selection if breakfast, friendly hotel staff. Infinity pool is okay, could have a bit deeper though. The other pool is undergoing refurbishment. Island hoping are a must to do. We ate in the town where they served fresh sea food.I think its called Island boy Grill. Outside the hotel the tricycle ride are ideal to get round Coron town proper for merely 30 pesos.

    I dont know why everyone goes to crowded Coron island while huge wild beautiful Busuanga is near. Its very big island, better to rent a motorbike to discover it. A lot of things to do, islands, giraffes, diving, beaches.

    Day trips to beautiful beaches and islands is what Coron is about. The town is dirty and chaotic. And hotels are overpriced for what you get. 3 or 4 days is enough to enjoy the diving and snorkelling options which are wonderful. Lots of rubbish floating around in the ocean and on the beaches which seems to be a south east Asia problem. Over all some stunning scenery well worth visiting and exploring

    We liked Busuanga because it was relatively untouched by tourism. Where we stayed at Ocam Ocam there was a rural village community living along the beach. They were friendly and helpful and there was one restobar on the beach. The beach wasn't busy - had a very relaxed feel. It would have been a drive to the nearest town but we liked being away from it all. The beach at Ocam Ocam was gorgeous, though not for swimming as it had a long shallow reef out to the sea. We didn't see a lot of Busuanga as a whole but it felt equally relaxed and rural away from big towns.
