We used the spa several times, took part in an organized snorkeling tour that was great, kayaked, jogged and made good use of the gym, pools and yoga classes. Having visited many resorts in several countries, the Crimson is now our favorite of them all. More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT Park area. I really did not enjoy IT Park because it was just a big mall area with businesses and restaurants and a lot of congestion and noise. The Pusok area was much quieter. More locals which I enjoy interacting with. Easier to get around. There is a mall area but it is not as big or nice as other malls in Cebu City. But I was able to find everything I needed. Some shops close a bit early though. When I return to Cebu City I will probably stay in this area again. I like how close it is to the airport because the ridiculous traffic in Cebu City concerns me when I need to get to the airport. I think the cost of lodging is more affordable in this area. The community is great.

There are tons of great parts of Cebu. Lapu Lapu / Mactan is one of many. So much to do, at all levels. Whether you're all high-end, seek to be one of the locals, or want a taste of everything, Lapu Lapu City has you covered. Beaches (of course), city/town life, great food options all around you, great activities for fun & activities, and easy to get around. We went to Mactan for a wedding and caught a 'Grab' taxi from the airport to the accommodation for about A$15. We had a room with a view to the sea, but could also see the housing of the locals, which contrasted to the fancy hotels - so sad to see the living conditions of locals.
