Our main reason for choosing Jelenia Góra was the parkrun which takes place in Park Norweski - the team there was very welcoming. We also enjoyed visiting Chojnik Castle and Perla Zachodu restaurant. At breakfast, Espresso must be paid for if you want it from the real machine at the bar, instead of the automatic dispensers. Steam bath was out of order, only sauna was available, besides the jacuzzis and the pools. Mattresses and pillows are not ideal, a little increase in quality could go a long way. Cosy green vibrant town, beautiful old buildings, lovely old town area, many good restaurants and cafes, really good shopping possibilities, amazing views to the Krkonose mountains. House recently built so everything was clean and new. House is attractive and well designed with nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. There is a lovely terrace with beautiful view over gardens below.
