Kudowa Zdrój is a lovely place as a holiday destination.
Kudowa Zdrój is a lovely place as a holiday destination. There is only one main road with plenty of restaurants that serve delicious Polish and Czech food (Cech - lovely food&drinks, Taka Ryba - shop/restaurant, they make their own sushi every Thursday, Bar Mleczny- traditional , homemade Polish food with plenty of choices, Ptyś- delicious cakes ,and many,many more...) There are tour agencies with a huge offer of trips (in Poland as well as to neighbourhood countries / National Parks). You also find museums, Kudowa Rope Park, bike rental and, obviously, mountain trails. People in Kudowa are super welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. The city is very clean and well maintained and has a lot to offer. Beautiful surroundings and views. High standard of service with knowledgeable and experienced staff (restaurants, guides). That was not my first visit in Kudowa Zdroj.
That was not my first visit in Kudowa Zdroj. The time was actually quite good - end of may but before holidays and not any extended weekend. Tourists on site was not to many so it was not overcrowded. there some places to visit in the city and some more to go by car or to use local touristic companies. They during the season offer one day trips to Czech sites and Polish also - the best way is to look online or to check during your stay - eventually ask at the property as they usually have some leaflets broshures etc. for me personally Kudowa is the place to stay but to go outside the city for mountain walks, visit Czech Republic and during winter to stay closer to the ski slopes etc.Guest review byTMSJPoland - 10.0
