Aveiro is a great place with plenty to see and do. Many lovely places to eat and drink. We stayed for 10 days but I think 7 would have been enough. Must not miss a visit to Costa Nova with the gorgeous coloured houses, also a boat ride is a must. Having been born in the vicinity, with loads of family living here, it’s almost like homecoming. A fantastic place to visit and so much to do. The surrounding towns, villages and near beaches are amazing. The casino in Espinho is also really good with fantastic shows and meals on offer. Really love the area, it’s not looking run down and quite well maintained.
