We enjoyed our stay at the pousada very much, the views were out of a fairy tale, the pool was a bonus after a hot day of exploring the magical village nearby, and the breakfast was delicious in an elegant dining room. The room was very comfortable and the balcony provided a beautiful view of the castle and the countryside.
The service was exceptional, starting with Ivandro at the front desk, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about places to visit and fine restaurants to try in Braganca. We appreciated his enthusiasm and kindness.

Everything was as described, there is a parking space in front of the building. The apartment has air conditioning in every room, a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom had soap and was super clean and fragrant. Great location, close to everything on foot. Very quiet, peaceful, beautiful view of the castle from the terrace.I recommend it.

This is a very special place, like none I've ever stayed in across 20+ years of travel throughout southern Europe! The guesthouse is in a splendid traditional village house restored with incredible care and attention to detail. Our room felt ancient and modern all at once, with rustic touches seamlessly blended to accommodate all of the modern conveniences one could ever desire. It is in a pristine slate-roofed village in a quiet untouched mountain region that feels lost in time. Richard is an incredible host: the food and hospitality were top of class from the moment we arrived.

This accommodation was great! It is situated in a very quiet village with 2 signposted hikes leaving from the front door and fantastic scenery all around. Luis has a shop in the village, below the accommodation selling his delicious honey and other products.
There is an open fire with wood for your use in winter and electric heating if you need it. The kitchen is very well equipped, the shower has a good pressure and the bedrooms are comfortable.
All in all a lovely place to stay and relax for a few days.

Rita is a very very nice host. She did everything for feeling home. She took care about me, cooked good food and helped me a lot with information about the culture. Amazing Was, she went with me to spain and showed me some places there. I really could recommend a stay at here place.

Perfect tranquilty.
Perfect tranquilty. Quiet village in National park outside of Braganca (20 minute drive). Very comfortable house with all facilities in Kitchen as per advertised. Excellent host. Luis is a gentleman and took great care to ensure the stay was great. Gave full privacy but responded immediately to requests! Even had flat tire on my hire car fixed for me, with no charge. Great fireplace. Wood delivered to door each day. Booked for two nights and stayed for four. Wish I could have stayed longer. Highly reccomend!
