RomaniaThe location is great and very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the streets and tourists. The house is magical, every detail carefully thought out, it is perfect for a family with two children, equipped with everything you need. The children loved it so much that they didn't want to leave and we had to promise them that we would come back soon.
And we, the parents, enjoyed a few moments of relaxation, admiring the stars in the warmth of the hot tub… just perfect. Thank you!

Pensiunea Poienița Apusenilor exceeded all expectations! The location is stunning, nestled in the beautiful Apuseni Mountains with peaceful views of the river and forest. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with solid wood furniture and private balconies — perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air.
The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We loved the outdoor spaces: the garden, the wooden swings and the cozy place with a grill. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area made it easy to prepare meals, and the atmosphere was relaxing and authentic.
This is the perfect place to unwind, explore nature, and enjoy traditional Romanian hospitality. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a quiet retreat in the Apuseni region!

Beautiful location with view on the surrounding mountains. Very low noise, the only thing you'll hear are the animals of the surrounding small-scale farms.

It is a small village, but well placed to visit the...
It is a small village, but well placed to visit the surroundings. We hiked on Petreasa Peak, second day we went to visit some caves and waterfalls. The location is close to Arieseni (mountain area, ski area, with a lot of things to do). There are some gems to visit in the nearby (Scarisoara, Pestera Poarta lui Ionele, Izbucul Tauz)

Cabana Daria3 was a perfect choice for our trip, for 2 families with children. The property contains 3 houses, but it is big enough that we felt it private. The property was clean and tidy, equipped with everything what you need for a few days trip. in area of 20-30 min by car there are a planty of locations to wisit, caves, waterfalls, hiking routes.

Arieseni is one of my darling ski resorts, since my youth, when it was just a village with a snowy hill closeby. Today is a tourist destination in Transylvania and Apuseni Mountains, a hub for both day trips or weklong backpacking hikes. There are caves and canyons to visit, horseback rides, steam train adventures and just breathtaking beauty landscapes.
There are plenty of family restaurants (if you are looking for a McDonalds, you're in the wrong place), with delicious local food (try the trout, the polenta or the thick gulash soup). Visit the unique caves of Scarisoara (the world biggest ice cave) or Bears Cave, where 141 cave bears died 17000 years ago) or ride the vintage steam train along the Aries Valley.
