The room was spotless (like, could-eat-off-the-floor clean… though we didn’t test that). The location? Chef’s kiss! Right in the heart of everything – we barely needed Google Maps. The service was incredible – everyone was so helpful and kind, I started wondering if they secretly knew us from somewhere. They even smiled before coffee, which should be an Olympic sport! We had an amazing time both at the hotel and exploring the city. Honestly, we left feeling rested, happy, and already planning our next visit. In November and December (2022) in Craiova there is unique Christmas Market, which starting 10 min walk from hotel and it's perfect to visit during your stay. Beautiful city. I had the oportunity to visit the Museum of the Book dedicated to the great Romanian intellectuals of the exile, and also the Museum of History, with wonderful explanations about the history of Oltenia. lovely hour in the art museum. Christmas market is a bit basic and very expensive for what was there. Food incredibly expensive and not great - I normally love mici but this wasn't good.
