The personnel was polite, the location was perfect in the city center, breakfast was very good. We had a suite with a nice view at the Palace. The kid received complimentary kid products. Lunch in the restaurant was good also. Very close to Palas Mall. We appreciated very much the pool’s programe… untill 22.00 !!

everything a weary traveller dreams of; friendly efficient desk staff, clean, comfy bed, hot bath, airy room, good nights sleep, great breakfast! oh! one thing - only milk alternative was soya and I forgot to ask the waitress to shake the carton before she poured into a jug - ate a gloopy bowl of muesli - minor point but someone else might have complained. Smooth checkout with taxi on time - 10/10.

Very new hotel. It is perfectly located for visiting the two most impressive UNESCO monument painted churches. The hotel is really good.     I have been a regular visitor on an almost annual basis and stayed at Complex Turistic Bucovina / Popas since the early 1990's. I have seen the hotel develop into the beautiful complex it is today. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, relaxing with very good food and service. I cannot fault this. I am saddened to hear the previous proprietor has more recently passed away as under her directions she helped develop the hotel into what it is today. Over the years I have regularly recommended my friends and family from the UK and other countries stay at Popas. They have always come away very happy with the service, accommodation and beautiful setting.

We were amazed by how helpful the reception staff was - my daughter forgot her jewelry in the bathroom and the hotel offered and did send a parcel to Bucharest on their own expense . Thank you Mandachi Hotel! We will choose to stay there again if we ever need again accommodation in Suceava

The room was so spacious and the bed so so so comfortable and to be honest I've slept better than home, also everything was clean as i wished.     The centre if Iasi is a beautiful city.

    The centre if Iasi is a beautiful city. Its like any city really with the good and bad areas. I expected a different city as we hear so much about corruption and prostitution in Romania yet I seen none of this, nothing. I found the people however very cold. In shops and restaurants especially people were cold distance and rarely smiled. I found this hard. I goggled it and the findings state this is normal and that romanians wont let their barrier down with strangers. I found it hard. As a result of that I wouldnt be in any rush to go back.

    the city is very nice and has lots of facilities . it helps to know romanian since very few speak and understand a different language, people are very nice and in most cases would do what they can to help you. I had also a feeling that there was very little crime in that city and i didnt confront any petty events. it has a good public transportation and it is easy to get around . i eat in different places fast food and restaurants it all was fine and as expected

    Lovely town, surrounded by hills.

    Lovely town, surrounded by hills. See the historical town center and go to long walks in the nature right in the city - either on Cozla hill, Pietricica hill or near the river Bistrita (highly recommended). Nice Shopping Center, easily accessed by bus. Nice market, in the summer you can buy forest fruits that are picked by the locals.

    City is nice and cleaned.

    City is nice and cleaned. Liked there is a lot of flowers and trees. But that's it. There's not much what to do and see. Trip is ok for one or two days max. If you don't have a car, you don't have much options how to get to nearby destinations.

    The city is nice and one can use it as the center for visiting everything around on an area of 100 km. The only downside is that it take too long to get there if you're travelling from the Southern part of Romania. You can add some days of hiking too and you would have the perfect vacation mix.

    I am in Radauti quite often as it is a place I stop and stay while going to and from Ukraine. For me the town is perfectly located for that purpose as it is only 20kms from the border town of Siret with Ukraine. Far better to stay in Radauti and then drive the next morning to the border or the same on the way back. Nice and cozy little town that has all you need, great places to stay, great places to eat, plenty of drive through concepts including many drive through coffee shops like Krew! Has a beautiful little town centre and its really a cross roads town where major roads meet and a railway junction, so its not the kind of town you visit to see something. If you are heading West to Maramures National Park, then Radauti is perfect to get supplies and refresh. Always take a hoodie anytime of year though as Radauti can remain cool for longer than in the South and weather can change rapidly and in winter be prepared as it gets very cold! Nice little town to stopover in for a night.

    The Bicaz Lake area is nice for nature lovers - a lake with an interesting history, surrounded by splendid mountains. You have the option to do everything by car, access nice restaurants or, at the same time, go into nature, hike, make tours by boat (also on your own).

    Nice small town next to the Neamt old fortress, and in driving distance to around 20 old orthodox monasteries. Also the town of Romanian author Ion Creanga, in the Humulesti village nearby it’s his memorial house museum. For quick shopping you have local small shops and Lidl. Good restaurants near the fortress.

    Amazing city with lots of things to do.

    Amazing city with lots of things to do. Iasi is so cultural and yet so modern and grand and beautiful and safe even late at night. Great restaurants and clubs with music you can dance. Great shops and theatre and gardens and opera and even free concerts and events.
