PolandA great place for a trip with children. The equipment gives the impression that you are visiting someone for the weekend. It's very homely. I have a child with tons of allergies and I could easily prepare any meal in this kitchen. Lots of supplies for children. Great view from the bedroom. Very nice owner. Very responsive, you can contact him with any request. I highly recommend it. We will definitely come back.

In fact everything. To start with the friendly and perfect speaking gentleman at the check-in counter. He gave us all the necessary information and freedom of room choice. A big compliment for him. The room was very big as well as the bathroom. Both were very clean and with a nice view on the mountains. And a little river close by. So nice. The restaurant: Very good service, very tasty food and amazing breakfast. The waiter speaks also very good English and did everything to make our stay at the restaurant very pleasant. The restaurant at itself is very beautifull and is also like a nice museum. It has a open fire. Parking was perfect. A lot of space. And everywhere it's very clean. About the location: very silent. Fuel station: just 5 minutes away. Polish border: about 10 minutes driving. Areas (mountains) with frozen snow: 5 minutes driving. And then the High Tatra (Wysokie Tatry). A pearl of nature in Europe. You are in the middle of it. This also makes Hotel&Restaurant Sofa the perfect place for a stay in the High Tatra. For the staff (check-in desk) and the restaurant we have our respect and sympathy. They make you feel at home. We (experience Booking.com Genius members) rate this place with a 10 out of 10. That means 5 stars on all subjects. We will be back, for sure.

We stayed at this pension as two families with six small children, and it was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, and the shared areas were extremely convenient – from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy playroom indoors, and especially the large outdoor play area where the kids could run and enjoy themselves safely.
Dinner at the pension was excellent, and the food exceeded our expectations. The view from the property was stunning, and the location is ideal for exploring the High Tatras, with easy access to many hiking trails and attractions. Above all, the hosts were outstanding – warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this place for families visiting the area.

We liked everything. The standard exceeded our expectations. Our room was shining, cosy and spacious. Enough space to park a car. Tasty breakfasts done by the owner made our days here. Close to the village Lendak, where you can eat delicious pizza and visit the supermarket. Very good base to start a trip to Belianska Jaskyna Bachledka, Aqua Thermal Vrbov and the rest. Absolutely recommend for families. A big playground behind. Nice owners. Will be back again soon💪

It is a fantastic apartment in a lovely mountain village. It is a breathtaking right from the front door. The design is absolutely stunning and you feel just like home. It’s very clean and the kitchen is very well equipped with anything that you might need during your stay. There is no better summary of the apartment as home away from home.

Not much to see in the city itself, but we stayed here on the way to the rafting in the Dunajec River. The place has its own restaurant where we had dinner. The room was good, not very big, but for one night it was ok. The best part of this stay was breakfast - plenty of choices including hot options (scrambled eggs, sausages, etc.).

Our spacious comfortable room with a beautiful view of the mountains, the extensive buffet breakfast(with live piano music on Sunday morning) and delicious dinners, the amazing spa with quite a large indoor pool and the extremely friendly professional staff, all contributed to our wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel.

Amazing rustic lodge in the mountains. The room was comfortable and the bed was great. The staff were so friendly and had enough English for us to understand each other. Breakfast was amazingly tasty, but the highlight was the Bernese Mountain Dog who was so friendly and chill.

I liked the most hospitality and accomodation. I dislike that in this the time there were some Gorals days and it wasn’t possible go to the “cloud pavement” without buying an expensive ticket for this event. So my hiking up was useless.

Rafting the river and hiking up to the top of the Three...
Rafting the river and hiking up to the top of the Three Crowns was fantastic as well as walking the developed trail along the Dunajec River. Rafting the river is unique and a "must do". The river trail however can be quite crowded especially for bicycle riders. Unfortunately, I could not find a good food store in the town but did find a small shop close to the Catholic Church on the other side of the river in Poland. Finally, touring the Monastery itself was inspirational, beautiful and educational. A great place to visit!

My favorite was hiking around with my dog, we mostly went to Strednica. The restaurants are good (my favorite was Zdiaranka and Stone Art Gallery café to enjoy the view and have good coffee or a glass of wine), there are several shops to buy food as well. I visited the local museum. I recommend going to Tree Top Walk in Bachledova Dolina, very interesting place.

Zdiar is a beautiful town, perfect for skiing, hiking and relaxing! It has everything you need, the people are very friendly and helpful although it would be a good idea to learn some basic Slovak just to get you by. Waking up in the high tatras mountains in a sight to behold! Numerous restaurants line the main street and there is an amazing pizza restaurant that sells great drinks too, looks like a museum inside wall to wall with Slovakia history gathered by the owner it is called Pizzeria Rustika. I would highly recommend a visit.
