Such a beautiful property. The host was so kind and helpful every step of the way. Very very clean and tidy. We had to leave early and the hosts even made us a breakfast to take away so we wouldn’t miss out. Would recommend to anybody who is staying on the island

This is a great little boutique hotel in an old mansion beautifully maintained. Just a little out of the town center, easy walk from ferry dock. Nice views from the balconies. Good breakfast in the garden restaurant. Staff was super, very friendly, run by a husband and wife team. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Great hotel in an elegant historic mansion with spacious rooms with high ceilings. Everything was perfect: the bed was comfy, aircon worked fine, bathroom was clean, and there was a fridge in our room, and a balcony with street view. The staff were very friendly and formal. ❤️ They serve breakfast in the morning which is like the typical Turkish breakfast. Also, the location is great, only a few minutes walking to the town centre and the ferry terminal. 👌 The place is not cheap but it's worth the money! Highly recommended! Would return in a heartbeat! 💓

The room (we staid in a separate bungalow) is spacious, the territory is green and serene, the terrace in front of the bungalow is perfect for a relaxing dinner or coffee, and the breakfast is delicious and it takes almost an hour to eat:) And thank you to the very nice personnel.

This is one of the best places I’ve ever been to. Island itself is truly spectacular with it’s calmness, cleanness, empty streets, but still packed with all the necessary infrastructure. The hotel is very neat, beautifully decorated inside, cozy. The host and his mother are very friendly, caring and hospitable, always ready to answer your questions and provide assistance if needed. I would definitely be happy to come here again. *Breakfast was outstanding! Thanks a lot for mankind my stay that special.

Tiara Buyukada is ideally located next to the port and center of Buyukada, everything is within 5 minutes walk! The view from the room was breathtaking and everything was spotless clean. Friendly staff, even met the fantastic, friendly owner who makes sure to talk to every customer and get their opinion. It is highly recommended and I will surely return!

Hotel Splendid is like having a holiday in an other century or in a Sherlock Holmes film. No hotel is like this one. The stuff is excellent, everybody has an other character of this imaginary film, just like the hotel itself. No five star is enough to express the unique experience of Splendid Palas.

This is my second time staying at Karadag. Absolutely love the place, the pool and the location. It’s hidden away from the busy touristic part but 10 -15 minutes walk to the centre. You can get the electric taxi and pay with your Istanbul card it costs about 100 TL . Clean and feels very homey❤️

It’s a very touristic spot, and during the day it can feel a bit overwhelming with so many people around. The place itself is beautiful, but at times it felt like there was little privacy, with crowds filling every corner of the island. At night, however, it becomes peaceful and feels more local, which we really enjoyed. Overall, two days were more than enough to experience and appreciate the atmosphere.

our family of 4 , parents and two early twenty daughters loved the island . We loved that is was very authentic. No Starbuck and no mc Donald. All very typical Turkish. It gets busy in the weekend but lovely during the week. Good to get around by bus or bikes. It is not an island for beach lover but plenty (expensive) beach clubs or places where you can go into the sea. beautiful and green . Defenitely have to take a boat to the other islands ....

It has scenic views and a somewhat beautiful nature. make sure to visit there in a warm weather so you can enjoy the beach, swimming, and sunbathing. I visited there in the beginning of October and it was getting cold so no one there went to the beach. I did a lot of walking around the island and through its nature and enjoyed the peaceful and calm atmosphere. There is no night life like what Istanbul has nor a lot of entertainment and activities to do, so you'll enjoy there if you're looking for some time far from your busy routine or crowded streets of big cities.

Lovely place to escape to when you want to get away from the madness of Istanbul. It has a lot of derelict but gorgeous buildings, a lot of history, beautiful mansions and buildings and is just a cute lil place to go for a walk or ride a bike. Many of the cafes, restaurants etc are by the seafront so a nice view with your raki and fish.

It is a beatiful island with great arhitecture and vibe, perfect for long walks and chill. If you'd like to come here for the beach, it is not the best option. The few beaches available are expensive and they have no sand. The water is also very cold, but at least it is clean. The accomodation on the island tends to be a bit pricy and not very confortable. The local food is very good and people very friendly and helpful. Locals don't speak english very well, hotel personell includes, so you need to make sure you have internet connection so you can better communicate with people.

As a small island, it's possible to get around the whole place by bike in a couple of hours. There are a lot of beaches, but most of them require payment. It's a day trip, but if you are there for a couple of nights then you can visit more than one of the islands.
