Everything was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Jane was so welcoming and friendly. It's easy to see why this property is so highly rated. We were given a list of the best food stalls to visit at the nearby Dongdamen Night Market - which were all SO good! The air-conditioning in the room was great (it was so hot during our visit and the room stayed nice and cool). Waka the Hotel dog is also very cute and loves a pat. The breakfast was amazing! A selection of tea, coffee, juices and freshly prepared meals which were different each day. We had to leave earlier one morning for a trip to Taroko Gorge and they were kind enough to pack our breakfast to take with us so we didn't miss our bus. It's a tiny town with fewer restaurants to choose from...
It's a tiny town with fewer restaurants to choose from comparing to HuaLiang which is 18KM south of XinCheng. But, this town is also 18 KM closer to Taroko National Park.
