The whole place has an amazing energy! For animal lovers the house dog and a cat will kindly greet you every time you come home ;) You can chill in the garden or by the pool. Rooms are super tidy an beautiful - native style. Hosts are the best!! Very helpfull and super kind. We were really happy to meet them. The place has the best food in Nungwi! The Oasis Blu provides a private and most luxury boutique experience. From the slightly off the beaten path location, with is own breathtaking sand bank beach, the views are spectacular from day to night. The rooms which are all separate oceanfront villas, are large, well decorated and modern. The individual pool allowed us to have complete privacy and still experience the beautiful outdoors. All the staff, including the chef, are extremely friendly, welcoming and professional. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable and truly went over and beyond to make our stay exceptional.

Just an amazing stay. Tina, the host, is incredibly attentive and helpful with everything, so is the staff (special thanks to Edina). Room was massive, clean, with all amenities and nice views to the pool and beach; restaurant opens till late and offers a fair variety of options in the menu. Feels like a resort with everything in it, but the opposite of crowded, which is great. Also, the area is quiet and well located in the island. We will definitely recommend it to any friend that visits Zanzibar.

This cozy beachside resort offers a peaceful, serene escape with exceptional service. The owner, Loay, is incredibly hospitable and always available on WhatsApp to attend to any needs including your meal order, excursion plans etc. (I have yet to see this service at another resort). Rufina, the friendly and attentive waitress, made every meal enjoyable. Unlike other resorts, this one has fewer hawkers, allowing for a more relaxed experience. It’s the perfect spot for relaxation, with a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

    -Best beach experience in Zanzibar: Swim during high tide or during low tide you can explore wildlife in coral reef or walk further out to sand dunes where you can relax in crystal clear water or swim. -Hotel decor & ambiance: Most unique hotel I’ve stayed in my life. We really enjoyed all the unique lounge areas and the outdoor bathroom. The design is such a great value for the hotel price. This place was made for photos. -Location: Stay here if you plan to eat dinner at The Rock. The hotel is walking distance along the beach. The beach is also lined with other restaurants and activities. If that’s not enough, the hotel has a ton of reasonably priced pre-arranged activities. We were able to tell the beach hawkers no firmly because we already booked through the hotel. -Very Communal: The owner, Nicole, is very kind and welcoming. She set us up with activities and gave us the tour of our room. She’s present on site if you ever need anything. People often hang out in the restaurant in the evening which gives it a community, home-y feel.

    Z hotel is on the beach..the sister hotel Z2 is next to it and you can use all the amenities of Z hotel. Z2 is almost brand new. On the beach you have all the sporting activities and you can directly negotiate good prices with the boats to take excursions rather than use the high prices of the tour operators. The nanasi beach club is just 450m walk from Z Hotel and really good vibes . Z hotel has an excellent location and has an Indian restaurant with amazing food . Will definitely come.back

    Zanzibar is an amazing destination with beautiful beaches, friendly people, and a rich culture. Stone Town is full of history and character, and the spice farms, sandbanks, and snorkeling trips make the experience unforgettable. The food is delicious, especially the seafood, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I highly recommend visiting Zanzibar for anyone looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation.

    It was a great stay for me and my family. The best part of this hotel is the entire staff. Extremely friendly and courteous.Always smiling and greeting at every opportunity.A special thanks goes to Fadhila who made us and especially my daughter feel very special and welcome.The Manager was also very friendly and polite.Overall I would rate my stay as exceptional.

Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice.     Matemwe was nice - the beach part.

    Matemwe was nice - the beach part. Sad to see the poverty behind the gates of the hotel. The tides were a bit different from what we have expected as the water would leave the beach at 9am and return around 5pm. If you did not make it to swim early in the morning, you missed it. We took a reef walk which was beautiful, saw a lot of see creatures, and that was very amazing experience. Also took a boat tour to see the sunset - it was worth the trip. Did not like how the locals would just stop on the beach and start shouting at you to buy smth. Also the part of the hotel beach is not segregated in any way, which does not give you a privacy enough. The food was amazing though - the hotel goes much beyond - and all day brekfast concept was amazing.

    The sea and beach with super soft and white sand are absolutely fabulous and relatively clean. I got bitten by sand fleas on my legs because I spend a lot of time in the sea and walked barefoot. There is a lot of informal trade on the beach by locals trying to sell something. Maybe even more so if you are a woman walking alone.

    This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

    Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable.
