We ate at two very good restaurants - especially El Mirador, which has excellent Central American home made food and the best guac and chips we've ever had. The store Lonesome Woods has a very interesting collection of mostly New Hampshire-related things for sale, antique and new, and the owner was great fun to talk to. While Main Street may not be as charming as one imagines a New England town to be, but it is sophisticated enough, with a good range of businesses, and is very well situated for easy access to the mountains. It's a real town with local people making Bethlehem work for them.Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0

We were there on a Monday evening and Tuesday evening in early October. Since it is right in the crossroads of so many of the highways/routes used for the leaf peeping season, we thought it would be a great stop. Absolutely NOT! There were no restaurants open and essentially nothing of interest there.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 4.0

Real shortage of restaurants - On Saturday morning, 30-45 minute wait to get in to even simple diner. Found Adair Inn on Friday evening, it was outstanding for dinner- rest of Littleton is not worth the effort.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Very helpful staff, inviting dining room and a cozy but welcoming bar area. The new proprietors are fine tuning a cute inn. We had a short stay for a loon mountain overnight and this place did the trick. Short drive to other local restaurants or brewery but the food was worth dining at the inn. Multiple lounge/seating areas with warm fireplaces. Good spot!Guest review byShaunUnited States - 10.0

Bethlehem is a charming little town, nestled near The Presidential Mountain Range of New Hampshire. There are several small and interesting shops and there were, at least, SIX restaurants open for dinner during the time we were there in March. We had dinner at The Cold Mountain Cafe (make a reservation), and it was wonderfully prepared and delicious. Our stay at The Mulburn Inn was delightful and we enjoyed driving around the area and seeing many of the wonderful old homes there. It is very close to Littleton, NH which is a slightly larger community. There is easy access to the mountains in the area and that is, certainly, the draw for those of us who love winter travels. We have driven through Bethlehem en route to Maine many times and have always said, "we have to stay here sometime." We finally did and we're VERY glad that we did so!Guest review byJohnUnited States - 10.0
Everything about the accommodations was excellent.
Everything about the accommodations was excellent. Nothing was missing. The host provided every possible want or need you could think of. All you had to bring was your need for peace and quiet and the love of Mother nature at her bestGuest review byLindaUnited States - 10.0

Littleton is a great town with a nice old fashioned Main St.. An assortment of boutique style stores are available with a real penny candy store. There is a cinema and there are several restaurants. There is a book store and a public library also present. It was a joy to walk up and down.Guest review bybibeaultUnited States - 8.0
Several good restaurants in Bethlehem.
Several good restaurants in Bethlehem. And a great ice cream shop. Not much retail …we went to Littleton for shopping and antiquing. Bethlehem, NH is close to the beautiful nature trails and Cannon Mountain.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Great place for hiking and other outdoor activities.
Great place for hiking and other outdoor activities. The weather in the Notch is different (wetter and more unpredictable) than the weather to the north or south. The scenery is spectacular, and the area is loaded with quaint towns.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0
Littleton is an hidden gem of a town.
Littleton is an hidden gem of a town. It’s rich with diversity and has a very interesting history. It’s a wonderful place for families and very pet friendly. Make sure you bring your camera and enough storage for all of the pictures you will be taking. I highly recommend a stay at Thayer’s Inn and the chicken mittens from Littleton Diner 💗 Aylakai’s shop is an absolute MUST. There are so many interesting things to look at. You have to take your time to really look around. There is something for everyone. The Purple Peacock is a flea market that has huge, eclectic inventory - however not the BEST for curious kids (lots of fragile toys). Finally, Baba Yaga. I would come visit Littleton for this art shop alone. Pick up a copy of the artist’s sketchbook while you're there.Guest review byKimberly
